Stayed in this guest house last December. Very close to the station, and the owners - Alex and Saori - were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived very late at night, and Alex waited up for us until we arrived. He also let us stay for free in the basement room after our check-out time had expired so we could wait for our train. Access to everything in Osaka was within walking distance, and the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. It also features a nice roof terrace. Our room was fairly simple with Japanese-style bedding, with the blankets and covers stored in a large cupboard, and a heater/table thing in the middle of the floor. You don't get your own shower, however - you share with the other guests. For the price, though, this was well worth it, and offers everything you need if you're travelling on a budget.
