This hotel blew me away and quite frankly I am not a huge Tokyo fan. The room was beautifully appointed and quiet. The staff was beyond accommodating and the spa was sublime. The pool is probably the most special facility that one could ever experience at any establishment and the massages were heavenly. I would have been happy to skip the touring to spend my days within the four walls of the hotel.

I had the priviledge to spend 3 nights in Tokyo at the Aman. The room was well appointed in a very modern Japanese way.
It was spacious and well thought of for overall a very comfortable stay. The view fron the 37th floor was beautiful overlooking the city as well as the imperial palace park.
It was also well located within the city, near shops and restaurants as well as the main train station. I was able to walk undergound on a rainy day through very clean (and busy) pedestrian tunnels from the hotel to the train station.
Some people may find the impressive 33rd floor lobby a bit " cold" though due to its size and dark black lava stone... It is a matter od taste...

We spent 5 nights at Aman, and this was one of the highlights of our stay in Tokyo. Honestly, some days we just felt like hanging out at the hotel, which is not something you usually do in a city! The design is exquisite, the food is (mostly) delicious, although we do recommend to eat Japanese instead of Italian (the café, which serves French food, was also a big disappointment). The views are spectacular (even from the gym!) and the rooms are stunning. But the most important aspect is that the staff is seriously amazing. So polite, friendly, willing to help, always ready to provide advice, maps... you name it.

Room tip: All rooms have amazing views.
