Excellent location in Ginza, near the elegant Chuo dori avenue and the Shinbashi station where three rail and metro lines meet. Many, many restaurants all around, for all tastes and all budgets. Beautiful interior design. Very quiet. Impeccably clean. Very helpful people at reception desk. Room a little small, but this is Japan! Very little space to store your clothes, so you must leave most of it in your luggage, which can be a little annoying. Beautiful view from the room, especially towards the South. Very good quality for the price. Highly recommended. We spent 9 nights there, and would return anytime.

I stayed a week at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier in Tokyo. I loved my stay there, far away from home, everything was made to make you feel comfortable and special guest. Welcoming is charming and everybody is looking at your well being, looking for giving you as much information you may need during your stay. The hotel lobby is situated at the 16th floor of the building and offers a beautiful view of Tokyo Tower. Rooms are quite small compare to our European standards but in accordance to Japan. Very clean with a beautiful view on the city. A window from the bathroom will let you contemplate the view from your shower ! Food is perfect and the hotel's situation itself is very convenient for business or tourism, close to subway station and 5 minutes walk from the very hype Ginza area.

Room tip: You will have beautiful view no matter your room as they are situated from the 17th floor, up to 25th.

I like this hotel becuase the bus going to and from Narita airport stops at the hotel, and the hotel price is always good especailly if you book 45 days or so in advance throught hotel web site.
I know many people commented the location being center and very good but I slightly disagree. The hotel is the edge of Ginza and it is located almost Shinbashi. It is 10-15 min to walk to famous department store Mitsukoshi and if you think Mitsukoshi is the center of Ginza this hotel is certainly not located in the middle of Ginza.
However I like to going to Tsukiji market and the hotel is very close to the market. ( although it is still 10min walk, you can see the market from the hotel ) I love to try some other hotels in Tokyo but I always end up staying here, becuase this hotel never disappoints me.
I don't understand some people complaining about the size of the room ( think about the rooms you get in NY !) I mean, it is really not bad at all.
The area called Shiodome is just acroos the road, the Shiodome train station and the shopping mall called Caretta Shiodome is there. There are many caffe and restaurant in the mall. I found walking to Shiodome is much closer than going to center of Ginza so if you are back in the hotel and tired to go out again but want go somewhere to grab a quick bite, I recommend to go to Shiodome than Ginza.
There is a also Moss burger ( japanese burger chain) nearby, I like going there for people watching (lots of pro Kimono ladies who works in thoese famous Ginza gentlmans club) , nice little burger ( I always end up eating 2) and milk shake, jsut ask the reception staff they will give you a map to take.

Room tip: If you like trains like me just ask the room overlooking shiodome station.

This hotel is worth every penny. Comfortable, big rooms for Japanese standards with excelent bathrooms. Pleople at the reception were very helpfull and gave excelente service. It´s in a very nice part of town and it´s only a five minute walk to the nearest subway station and close (15 minute walk) to the Tsukije fish market. The bus-shuttle to Narita stops at this hotel. Definitely would stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.
