Grand Hotel Primavera

Big room with a very nice view of the ocean at Rimini and the old city walls of SM. We did not visit the spa as no time ( we were passing through on out way to Slovenia) but in any case there was a small extra payment. Good car parking. However, breakfast was unimaginative and rather dull ( though v cheap). The old town of SM is a short car or bus drive away - visit at dusk- the sunset is beautiful!

Dear customer,
thanks for the review, we hope to make them feel our wellness center at an early opportunity. For breakfast instead is important for us to let you know that it is a service to which we hold a lot, you can find our home-made cakes and all kinds of pastries as well as the assortment of meats and cheeses for those who prefer salty foods. When you come back we will be happy to meet your every special request. Have a nice day!

During our road trip in Italy, we booked Grand Hotel Primavera for one night. It was more than twice (almost three times more) expensive than our selected 3* hotel in Rimini, we liked photos of the rooms and balconies. We thought added bonus was the access to pool and sauna so we booked it. We drove up from Rimini, access was easy off the main road and free parking was available in front of the hotel. Staff were nice and we checked-in easily. However, we were quite disappointed with our room - definitely it was not like in the photos we saw on the web site... Besides that, it was on the ground floor (no balcony but there was a car parked just outside our window!). Even our double bed was made of two single bed mattresses, not definitely a 4* hotel feature... Even worse, we didn't even use the spa (with swimming pool) because there was some surcharge to access the spa area. Quite disappointed, I wish we stayed in Rimini instead because this was not a good value for money.

Dear guest,
the price of a 4 star hotel in San Marino is obviously superior to the three stars of the Romagna Riviera, which have equipment, furniture and reality in line with the price of the fare.
I am sorry that your stay was not to his liking. The mattresses are double in double classic to predict the accommodation also has two single beds.
We will have been able to bring the deluxe JSuite or if this item was very important in his liking.
The cost of the spa, 10 eur per person per stay, is by far the lowest in the area.
Sure of your understanding, thank you and goodbye.

The hotel is very close to the main road so that the garden is not nice and the plastic grass on the terrace behind the rooms failed to inspire us. On the plus side are clean rooms and friendly staff and good free internet.

GOOD: 1. Free car parking. 2. Free wi-fi.

BAD: 1. Very, very small shower, about 2x2 meters, equipment is very old. 2. Breakfast could be better - omlet is tasteless, and no sausages. 3. No climate control in room. 4. Room is small, so it is more like a 3-star hotel.

I'll begin by saying we were booked into this hotel as part of a larger group traveling to San Marino for an annual soccer tournament held there. I don't know if our experience would have differed if we'd been "regular" guests. Overall, this hotel was adequate, but not at all worth a repeat visit. First, it is not conveniently located to pretty much anything. If you wanted to go to San Marino or Rimini, for instance, you'd need to drive. Second, the hotel is located very close to a large, busy road, making any kind of walking unpleasant at best and dangerous at worst. The rooms themselves are adequate. We had working air conditioning, a decent-sized room, and a small but adequate bathroom. Several members of our tour group were not so lucky. At least two rooms did not have air conditioning (the hotel was full, so this situation persisted for the entire 5 days of our stay), and another had a room whose windows opened right onto the (not so fragrant) dumpster. The beds, in general, were of inconsistent quality. Some were ok, others truly uncomfortable. In general, our dining experience was very disappointing. Our food was just ok. Edible, but there was nothing at all to recommend it. Considering we were in Italy, the kind of basic hotel food we ate was a terrible disappointment. We found the dining room service to also be very rushed; we were largely ignored. Again, this might have been different if we'd been "regular" guests instead of a large group. Overall this hotel is fine. But while a stay here could be worse, it definitely could be better.

rarely review anything, but I have to say a few words about this property... I stayed in this hotel for two nights last week and cannot overstate how fantastic the customer service was. From the time I checked in to the time I checked out, the staff at the hotel bent over backwards to provide great service. Not to be over-shadowed, the rooms were large, clean and exactly what you would expect in a higher-end boutique hotel-- nothing out of place.

Planning only an overnight stay, this hotel satisfied my needs: I wanted to avoid parking problems and traffic, so did not want to stay in San Marino proper. The hotel was a bit further than I had expected, though, so we had to drive to visit the town - and parking for that visit was a bit of a challenge. Parking at the hotel, however, was no problem at all. Upon arrival, the hotel did not have our reservation (which was booked through booking.com and I did have the confirmation with me); fortunately the hotel had rooms available. The room we were assigned was not particularly spacious and traditionally furnished(perhaps our room would have been nicer if our reservation had not been mishandled)- the bathroom was quite compact with tiny shower. Although the TV was not working, a call down to the desk brought someone to the room quickly to fix it. Breakfast was enjoyable, offering more than the usual fare. The public areas, lobby, restaurant are lovely.
