The cottage is a real gem, easy to find, comfortable, peaceful and well equipped. The owners were helpful without being intrusive . The local area has some great places to go and visit, from the shops, pubs and eateries of Matlock bath and the heights of Abraham to the Tram museum and the local shops in Crich. The Station is nearby but its a very steep walk down the hill! so we walked down and got a taxi back!
The Cottage and gardens were great, very clean and tidy and even better than the pictures on the site appear . I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The walk in shower was great and the kitchen was well equipped

If i'm really fussy..... I would say the frying pan isnt non stick! ....thats the only bad bit!

The hill from the station can be a little daunting after a day out in the sunshine, however the views down the length of the River Derwent are wonderful.
We are often available to pick up guests from the station whenever it is needed.
