“What a gem!”

We have just returned from a weekend at the Stables and loved it - so cosy and quaint, only wish we could have stayed longer. Everything you could need plus extra touches of flowers, and milk in the fridge. We visited Blenheim Palace, only a 20 minute drive away. The Crown and Tuns in Deddington has the most amazing range of pies and well worth a visit. The owners communication was excellent. We will definitely return if we visit the area again. Thank you.

We spent two nights here whilst attending a family wedding. Clifton is a quiet village, but easy to get to and locating the farm was not a problem, and accessing the accommodation was super easy. The Stables are light and airy and well laid out. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen/dining area was well laid out and well equipped, and there were little extras such as condiments and a small selection of teas / coffees in case you'd forgotten your own. For longer stays there is a washing machine and tumble drier in the downstairs utility area, and a courtyard with BBQ. The nearest local shops are in Deddington (2 miles away) or for larger scale shopping Banbury is just 8 miles away. Our 12 yr old daughter is already asking when we can have another break here!!

“Nice lovely cottage”

We stayed here with our 2 kids for only 4 days (too short). The cottage is the perfect base to discover Oxfordshire and more. You find everything a family needs away from home. Sheeps, a friendly dog, highchair, cotbed, safety door for the stairs, washmachine and dryer perfect with little kids.
Thank you again for sending us our forgotten clothing back to Germany. Thats perfect service.

“Delightful weekend stay”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Lovely accommodation near Oxford and the Cotswolds -- would happily stay again. Easily accommodated three adults and a small dog with room to spare. Clean and welcoming, well equipped, and communication with the owners was excellent. A charming property!

“Amazing little find! ”
Reviewed 24 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We wanted to book a quiet girls getaway for a weekend to unwind and chill out! Well this little cottage is just beautiful and quirky! Very nicely decorated and everything has been thought of! The cottage was lovely and warm, making it feel so cosy! Even though it's small it never felt too small for 4 adults.
Will definitely be booking again as its perfect for getting away from it all!

“Fantastic getaway”
Reviewed 24 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

A group of friends and I went for a chill out weekend. The stables were just perfect. A quirky cottage that was just right for a relaxing break. Everything was of good quality & immaculately maintained. Would highly recommend. Tim was very quick at replying when making initial enquiries.

Thank you- we loved it & shall return!!

“Nice place”
Reviewed 7 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The place is nicely renovated to a special place. Unfortunately in the living room and kitchen there are very small windows that makes that there is little daylight in the house. It is in a very tiny village near the church. the garden is lovely. The host is very nice and helpful.
