We stayed there for 2 weeks in June 2013 in one of the mobile homes. The accommodation was OK, 2 tiny bedrooms, tiny kitchen, small bathroom, good sized sitting area and great terrace. We were 4 adults (admittedly big adults) and it was a little bit cramped. I suppose it would be great for a family with 2 children.
The bungalow is very clean and well equipped, you will find enough pots and pans to cook simple meal, there's enough plates and cutlery for 4 people as well.
The staff was very helpfull and reacted quickly to any requests, e.g. when microvawe broke down we got a new one within 15 minutes :)
We had our bathroom and toilet in a mobile home but several times we used general facilities on a camping site and the cleaness was impressive, that's probably the cleanest site I've been to so far.
The pool area was great, clean and usually very quiet - but please bear in mind that we were there in June, before main holiday season and weather was poor as well. I suppose it looks different in a peak time, especially that it's not very big, I would say it's much smaller than it's looks on pictures.
We hadn't eaten in a restaurant but tried a bar once - first we were waiting for ages for a menu, then another century for our order and then forever to pay our bill.
The shop is a little bit overpriced but it has quite good fresh bread daily.
The nearest bakery and supermarket is about 6 km away in Onzain.
The camping is in a peaceful location, just outside a very small village Mesland, so it's possible to take nice long walks or cycle on quiet country roads.
It's in a good spot to stay and visit all the chateaux in the area.

Booked two touring pitches side by side without any problem. Booking in was very easy with a friendly welcome. The site was very clean with good facilities. The pool was good entertainment for the kids but there was no control of the use of the flumes.
The all weather court was popular with our 15 yr old who quickly gained mates with one mutual interest, football! We very rarely saw him after that. Our two year old made the most of the soft play, bouncy castles and trampolines. Would definitely return to thus site.

We stayed here for a week in August. It was our first camping holiday in France. The site was nice, the toilet/ shower areas were of a good standard and cleaned regularly. We used the pool daily and although the matting around the edge of the pool is uncomfortable under foot the pool was clean and of a good standard. The take away area was terrible, no clear indication as to where you order and we had to wait ages for pizzas which were of varying sizes despite being the same. The reception and shop staff were helpful and informative, however, the group of french people staying directly behind us also in tents were extremely noisy at night. The noise started from approx 9pm until 4-5am, this happened for 4 nights of our stay. We complained to the reception who assured us they would speak to the group. I know we were amongst several other English campers who also complained over a period of 3 days. The noise continued and we had many sleepless nights. Unfortunately the rule of silence after 11pm was not adhered to or enforced.

We stayed in a Cottage du Bois for a week and had a fantastic time. There's loads to do for the children including a fantastic outdoor and indoor pool, both spotless. The site is well run and the staff are friendly.

We stayed in the premier accomodation during the first week in August. This was the first time we've done this type of holiday as we normally do 4 star all inclusive ones. This was a very different experience but a really good one. The location of this site is very rural but not that far in a car from civilisation(15 minutes to Amboise) you couldn't really walk to anywhere. The site itself was clean and tidy and the accomodation we stayed in really was excellent. The staff in the reception and shop were always friendly and helpful and the shop itself was well stocked and not too expensive. The site does suit families with younger children, our 12 year old seemed quite old and most of the activities ie park, trampolines and inflatables are geared for younger children. The good thing with this though was that by about 10.30pm you could hear a pin drop. We didn't really use the restaurant, I did visit on our first evening and approached the counter that said takeaway I was met by quite a rude chef who directed me to the bar to order food or at least that's what I thought he said (my fault or not speaking french). I thought better of it and we cooked some pasta instead. The pool area is a bit smaller than the brochure makes it look and it did get a bit busy but not horrendous and we spent most days at some point in or around the pool. I was a bit concerned about the general pool safety. I've never been anywhere in the world that doesn't have a lifeguard controlling the slide area. I feel that it's only a matter of time before they have a serious injury caused by an adult smashing into a small child at the bottom of the slide. Whilst this didn't impact on our holiday the management really should address it. I used the launderette a couple of times and 5 euros for a wash is a bit expensive. In summary we had a really nice relaxing holiday and will almost certainly stay another Yelloh site again and would consider going back to this site.

This campground makes for a great HQ while visiting the chateaux of the Loire valley. There are numerous activities for children: swimming (covered, heated pool & outdoor pool with water slides), tennis, ping-pong, trampoline, BX bike area, mini golf (in bad shape for our stay), and special children's activities. The camp sites are spacious (~100 m2 or more) and the toilets and showers are clean, well maintained and open 24/7.
On the minus side, beware the opening hours (We're in France, folks!): reception, pool and mini supermarket all close at 8-8:30 PM! Another negative point is the WiFi at 6€ per day, and that is per device! I found the connection rather slow and intermittent. The entire facility seems to be run by "kids", as I didn't see anyone over the age of about 25. Washing machines are also pricey, at 5€ per wash.

We stayed in a mobilehome for 12 days, July 2013. A very nice camping resort with lots of shadow, tall trees to break the wind and many activities especially for the kids.
The cottage was well equipped for a family of 5. Area also provides for many nice activities . Tried baloon ride which was great, a canoe tour down the Loire river and visiting nearby towns Tours and Blois.
The restaurant is something else. We tried it twice, and suffered all differnt kinds of mishaps:
Our table reservation was forgotten. When finally seated, we godt the menu card after 15 minutes, after additional 30 minutes we had to grab one of the waiters to tell we were ready to order, and after additional 30 minutes we had to grab the waiter again to tell him we would really like to have our wine and softdrinks while waiting for the dinner to be prepared. When the food finally arrived after more than 1,5 hours waiting time, we asked for ketchup for the kids french fries and were answered that "this is not the McDonalds" Probably the most rude comment I have ever gotten in a restaurant... However it was the only english sentence we got from the waiter. (and they do have ketchup).
So all in all - a great site for camping, with a really nice surrounding area, but stay away from the restaurant.
