Description: Bridge House is a relaxed, friendly restaurant run by the owners Nigel & Caroline serving British dishes using local, fresh & seasonal produce with the menu changing frequently. All the food is freshly prepared in our kitchen. Come in for a coffee & cake, a "bite to eat", a glass of wine or beer or a full 3 course lunch or supper. At the weekends we are open all day serving "Brunch" & lunch or enjoy a coffee & a cake. On Sunday we serve a traditional Sunday roast lunch. Seating availale in our lovely walled garden.

We visited this new restaurant in Bampton on Friday night, and were so impressed by everything they had to offer. The food is locally sourced and homemade which is a real breath of fresh air; we highly recommend the local wine too! The menu is fresh and seasonal and the owners told us it changes pretty much on a weekly basis, which seems to be quite rare for a restaurant nowadays, and really reflects their ethos. Very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

We went to try the Sunday Brunch at this newly opened restaurant in Bampton, Devon. The food was superb. We met chef Nigel and although it did not say on the menu, we discovered that he bakes his own bread, cakes and there is a twist with the brunch and the novel baked beans.

It was very enjoyable, especially the Red Devon Cider. It makes a great change from The Swan opposite.
