“If you want a proper ski holiday this is THE place to stay!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2011

Where to start to describe this hotel and the splendid scenery that it is set in.
Firstly the location. Right on the pists. The roads leading to Passo Rolle are very well cleared and make it easy to access. We stayed 5 days in February at the hight of the season all we could see was snow when some of the other European resorts struggled. Over there, no snow machine, nice powder and unspoilt sceneries, very well treated slopes of all different levels of difficulty, perfect for me as a beginner and my boyfriend a little more advanced skier. The hotel is a family hotel, it has a massive underground garage, making sure your car is safe and starts when you need to leave! It is a place where you can really relax when the pists are closed. The food is amazing the chefs are really doing a great job, serving fresh and traditional dishes from the area. the menus is different everyday with a choice of three different dishes and always a vegetarian option. After 4.30 when the pists are closed there is entertainment for the kids (as well as the games room always open) there is a pool room and the comfortable rooms for a nap before dinner. The hotels offers to buy ski passes at a reduced price everyday and also there are trips organised during the ski season to other ski resorts in San Martino de Castrozza and Luzia. The staff are all very friendly and the owners are always there to make your stay better (even calling the local dentist if you happen to have a sore tooth!!)
It is easier to come by car, but we managed with public transports it all depends on where you arrive as there are buses leaving from Verona airport.
What else, we took some lessons organised with the help form the lovely Federica, Enrico the instructor was tip top helping me getting more confident and also ironing out my boyfriends paralleling troubles, definitely recommend taking lessons if your begin.
I am going to add some pictures of the views from the different slopes and the hotel.
There is nothing that the hotel could improve on, this is a place you come to ski or hike in the summer and the great thing is you can totally relax as there staff is in charge of everything. Loved every minute of it! Thanks a million to the family Zeni!!

Stayed at hotel venezia for a couple of nights last summer. Despite not speaking Italian made to feel very welcome by the owner family. Rooms in the alpine style and very clean. Food excellent. Setting in the mountains amazing. Would definitely recommend!
