myself and my partner stayed here off the cuff this week, what can i say, amazing experiance, lovely warm welcome from joe, his staff and his lovely mum, nothing was too much trouble for them, we stayed in the roederer cristal suite, it was faultless we even ended up staying one more night i as an insomniac dont sleep well at all, i certainly did the two nights we stayed here, we also ate here one evening, the steak was cooked to perfection and the full english was cooked beautifully the following morning, we will almost certainly be returning to this little gem in the near future

What more could you ask for, stayed in bar all day and felt so special, had dinner, best meal I've ever had the level of skill involved in all aspects was outstanding for the area. Would expect this level of service in London and beyond can't wait to try Dom Ruinart

I stayed here for one night as it was handy for a client visit the next day. On arrival I was quite impressed by the standard of the bedroom as it seemed to be well appointed however looks can be deceptive. The bed was uncomfortable and upon close inspection there were some dubious looking stains on the linen. Worse still the level of sound insulation was so poor that you could clearly hear the traffic noise from the adjacent road. As I am a light sleeper I spent most of the night listening to the noise vehicles driving up and down the road. In the morning I was not in a hurry which is a good thing as the chef does not turn up to prepare breakfast until quarter to ten!

Room Tip: As far away from the road as possible

We visited here today just off the cuff, needed to get out before a hectic family meal, we have stayed here on a couple of occasions (once our wedding night) and have visited on many a sunday lunchtime - for one reason or another we have not been here for a while hence the reason for visiting today, and we were not disappointed. We did not want a big meal but the staff were happy to arrange a snack that was 'off menu' which we were very grateful for - this was washed down with a nice glass (or three) of champagne and we will definitely be back again - for a long weekend next time :o)

Me and my partner had an amazing stay when we came to the who'd a thought it back in February. We arrived in the afternoon and after a warm welcome from Joe and Joan we were shown to our amazing suite. We stayed in the crystal room, after entering the room I was blown away by the beauty, attention to quality and detail in the room. We had seen this room online when we booked and knew it was special but nothing could prepare us for the true beauty of this room. From the carpet to the technology in the room, We couldn't find fault. That afternoon we enjoyed a lovely bottle of champagne relaxed on the chase, played some chilled music and enjoyed some time away from the children. In the evening we wondered down to the restaurants to eat. My partner had the most amazing steak, I the lobster and joe recommend some lovely wine. After we wondered into the bar where we were greeting by a warm a welcoming atmosphere. This is truly an amazing place, warm, welcoming family run establishment. We can't wait to come back. Thank you to joe and all your staff for truly making our night unforgettable.

My boyfriend and i stayed here for my birthday. We stayed in the dom ruinart suite which was lovely i didn't want to leave!
When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff.
The food was excellent and the room was clean.
Great peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle.
We will definitely be returning hopefully soon.
I cannot fault the Who'd a thought it at all (and i am fussy!)
Would most definitely recommend to anyone who wants a night or two away
