“Tuns of fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 April 2011

The Three Tuns is a fantastic little gastro pub / restaurant. The restaurant was packed solid with a great atmosphere and the waiting staff were efficient and friendly. Some great dishes on offer often sourcing local produce, e.g crab from Mudeford. I went for duck starter which looked fantastic and tasted lovely and my partner had the spicy crab soup which had real depth of flavour. My main of red mullet in a saffron sauce with cockles was great and my partner had the sea food stew which was also excellent. The dessert of carrort pudding, chocolate somosa and pistachio ice cream was melt in the mouth. This is certainly one of the best places I have eaten in within the vicinity of our home town.

“The Best Roast Beef lunch we've had in a long time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2011

What a find this lovely old pub is, really excellent top quality food and good friendly service. We went for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday in the area and enjoyed an excellent
Roast Sirloin of Beef with all the trimmings - just wish we lived nearer.

“Excellent food at a reasonable price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 December 2010

The Three tuns, on the edge of Bransgore opposite St Mary's Church is a lovely thatched building that has long had a reputation for good food. [ If you're looking for it on the OS map it isn't marked but its opposite the school and Ch with Twr]
It features a small "snug bar" where you can stand and drink, or sit and eat, ebven if you have your dogs with you.
It has an excellent range of beers and wines, and a big bar such that proper beer drinking and chatting can be done in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The restaurant is excellent and service and food probably the best in the area. It isnt cheap but it is something a little more special than average.
The restaurant area is relatively small so if theres a group of you best make a reservation.
The 3Ts also has a beer festival in the autumn, a terrain du petanque and outdoor eating.
it has areasonably sized car park.

I would reccomend this establishment as either a pub or a restaurant.

“Interesting food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2009

I have not been to this pub for some time and on a recent visit for lunch I was pleasantly surprised. The pub is light and airy with a good range of beers - including Sharps Doombar - and a good selection of wines at reasonable prices. But what surprised the most was the care taken with the food which covered a wide range of tastes. The presentation was inviting and a bit different e.g. my starter was crispy duck with egg noodles and spring onions with hoi sin sauce. The duck was really good and crispy and presented as a ball and the noodles were in a small cardboard box with a handle. The novelty made it all the more appetising visually and whilst my roast halibut could have done with a bit less sauce vierge it was nevertheless perfectly cooked.

All in all the menu is varied and reasonably priced for what is well above most pub meals in quality and presentation.
