Had trouble booking with the Internet web site, but got sorted the next day. Sunday & Monday nights sorted and all we need is reasonable weather. The poor TA reviews were all for before the refurb.

A good welcome even though it was very busy with Sunday lunches. Rooms sorted, table booked for supper, bags in rooms and off out to look at the cove & the door.

The Inn has had a massive refurb earlier this year and it is now very good. The rooms are manic shabby chic - someone should have known when to stop, hardly room to swing a cat but full marks for effort. It's modern, clean and quality. Everywhere is well detailed, has high quality appointments, is kept clean & shining and the staff are GREAT!

We had a good afternoon walking the cove & door and had a relaxing drink on the first floor terrace - a well chilled Prosecco. Then downstairs for supper in the busy restaurant. So busy that several items were off the menu - shame. However the sirloin steaks were very good, the Parmesan chicken went down well, so did the salmon skewers. The wine by the glass was good but I found the Badger beer too cold from the cask - no old fashioned barrels - shame.

Breakfast was excellent - good choice, well cooked, lots of fruit, OK coffee and some French pastries. Very good.

Another day in lovely Dorset. Corfe Castle is a ruin and pricey to get in, Studland is lovely and deserted, but Swanage was a disappointment.
Day two supper was very good - the pair of pies were smashing and everyone was happy with their grub. And off to bed.

The second breakfast was just as good, variety and quality food.
Checkout was easy and the billing system is very efficient and accurate. We were sad to leave, we had a smashing time and the Lulworth Cove Inn was an excellent base for a break.

There were some small problems, but the staff were helpful and pleasant so everything got sorted.

We were very impressed and we aim to return for another break.

I loved the Lulworth Cove Inn, our room was nicely decorated in a seaside theme, the bed was really comfortable, big soft towels and those nice little touches that make all the difference. Free wifi as well. We stayed 5 nights, breakfast was always really good, a good selection of fruit, cereals and continental style, as well as very well cooked hot breakfast to order. The one evening meal we had was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for one night very impressed with our room. Very good shower with very large very soft towels, etc.
Good food and service in restaurant with good choice on menu, sadly sold out of lobster!
.Great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose room at front for good view

We stayed at this lovely pub with rooms for 1 night and wished it could have been more. Although Lulworth Cove itself is very busy during the day, one of the advantages of staying at this hotel is that you can miss the crowds by popping down to the beach either first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon.
The rooms themselves are decorated with a luxury seaside feel and are just the perfect place to relax. The food in the restaurant is also good and the choice of beers is excellent, as you would expect from a Hall and Woodhouse pub.
I'm unashamedly fussy when it comes to hotels, particularly when you seem to pay so much for anything half decent in the UK, but this one gets top marks!

We have just returned from a long weekend at The Lulworth Cove Inn,booking one of the superior rooms(No 7) with a roll top bath in the bedroom and a queen size bed and a walk in shower in the bathroom. In total there was 12 rooms some facing the coastline and the others facing the Purbeck Hills.
The hotel is in an ideal position to visit Lulworth Cove and walk to Durdle Door ,serves a mixture of Ales and food throughout the day.
I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and we aim to return in the near future.
