The steps down todurdle door are some task for an older person but how could we not go down. so many wonderful memories of lulworth, dudle door and man of war bay. lulworth village much more organised but the door and the bay still spectacular. everyone should go..........

“Walk to Fossil Forest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 January 2013

Every year I take my geology students to see the Fossil Forest. It is a spectacular remnant of the past, to be seen together with the "Broken Beds". An easy walk from Lulworth Cove, but be careful of the Tank Range times.

“Excellent, Amazing Photo Opportunities”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 December 2012

Fabulous scenery and spectacular sites, particularly the fossil forest which will provide amazing photo opportunities. There are wild ponies on the hillside, these are quite timid but are happy to munch on any carrots that you take them.

“excellent coastal walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2012

Walked a few miles of the coastal path, via Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, in November. No better place on a brisk, sunny autumn day.
Hard work with under foot shingle around the cove but well worth it to get up onto the cliffs. Superb views - all other walkers seemd friendly & willing to chat. Returned to Lulworth for adeserved imbibement - great day out.
