What a fantastic day out. Parked at the Lulworth cove car park and then did the hike up the hill to Dudle Door which is absolutely spectacular. After a couple of hours here we walked back this path and ate lunch on Lulworth Cove which is also lovely.
Can't recommend this trip anymore. A must do!

Beautiful place to visit. We stayed in West Lulworth. Lots of holiday cottages to rent. English coast at its best. We loved it

Beach is well clean and has nice views of the famous archway.
Don't think I would walk it though from the main car park as it's a fair way and a bit of a mission.

It is lovely to visit by kayak! The walk down is a bit of a mission as you say but is manageable for most people who are reasonably fit and wearing sensible shoes. Thanks for your report.

Spent a day exploring Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door. The water was pristine and scenery wonderful. The walk down to the beach at Durdle Door is steep at times and the return journey I would imagine would be challenging for some.
Well worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful, as I remembered it from the 70’s and it had hardly changed at all. Obviously there were a few more shops, cafes and restaurants and the visitors centre was nice but it was just as stunning. I had tried to explain to my wife and 2 friends how lovely it was and it certainly did not disappoint them. Recommended
