The house was fantastic - a stone's throw from the nearest pub (with an excellent cide menu!) and a short walk down to the beautiful cove - about 15 mins. Also a Londis nearby, so v easy to stock up on supplies. The weather wasn't quite nice enough to enjoy the deck... but big communal areas of kitching, dining and living room were great. Nice touches with cookies and flowers left by the host also :) Would definitely recommend.
A fantastic holiday with lots of things to do in the local area. Very good accommodation with a good booking service. Will recommend to anyone wanting a Dorset holiday.
The Aerie is the perfect getaway for groups of friends. The bungalow itself is hidden away from the road and beautiful scenes of hills and skyline can be enjoyed while relaxing on the decked veranda.
The property was ideal for relaxing, catching up and having fun with old friends. The amenities are great for self catering as we chose but equally it's location is good should you choose to eat/drink out. It is a pleasant walk to the cove and a manageable and enjoyable walk over the hill to Durdle Door.
Gemma, the owner, was very helpful before our stay. She was happy and quick to answer any questions we had and provided lots of information.
First impressions were not good - broken gates at both entrances to the property and the remains of wooden planters on the path. We rented this property because it said it allowed dogs but this does not mean it is safe for dogs - it wasn't as the garden wasn't secure which meant we couldn't let them into the garden.
Having said that the property inside was clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend.
Found the booking system odd - didn't hear for 24 hours whether our booking was accepted and took an incredible 11 days from leaving the property to get our deposit back.
Great dog friendly pub next door - The Castle - all the staff were so friendly and good food.
Just returned from our weekend stay at the Aerie, we were a group of 5 friends all turning 30, we had a fantastic stay in this little hidden gem and highly recommend the pub next door for food and a great selection of ciders!!! will be staying again booking was simple the property was clean and well equipped with the added bonus of the cove being a short walk away,

An ideal property for what we wanted . Well equipped with good quality furnishing and the location excellent to explore east Dorset and to have Lulworth Cove and the village on your doorstep with all the amenities for eating at night is a bonus.
Could just do with a soft lighting in the lounge and a coffee table would put the icing on the cake
