I booked 4 rooms for the night before my son's wedding. They were all clean & the stay was enjoyable. Richard at reception was cheery & helpful. There was another man on reception with him but I can't remember his name, he was also helpful. We would stay there again

Room Tip: Could be noisy in a front bedroom

INTRODUCTION: My wife is quite severely disabled and consequently whenever we take one of our mini breaks, we will always try to find a suitable Premier Inn as this organisation genuinely have a real understanding for the needs of disabled customers. Additionally, Premier Inns always have a restaurant attached so there is never a problem trying to find a suitable eatary after a long journey.

PARKING: There is plenty of on-site parking with a couple of allocated disabled bays outside the main entrance. It should be noted however, the bays are 'directly' outside the front door which on two occasions during our stay, made exit from the hotel a bit of a squeeze.

ACCESS: We have visited many Premier Inns in the past and access into the Recpetion at this establishment leaves a lot to be desired. There are 2 outward opening, fairly narrow doors to access the Reception. There is a short, low incline ramp leading to the doors. I found it impossible to enter the premisses when pushing a wheelchair without assistance with the doors. The staff in this hotel were exceptional and always very eager to help us with anything we needed so most of the time we didn't have a problem. However, one evening we returned at around 8:00 pm and there were no staff on the reception and we had to stand in the rain for 5 minutes before we could gain access. What made this particularly frustrating was the fact that the Reception was undergoing major refurbishmnet during our visit but having spoken with the staff, there were no plans to do something about the very difficult access for disabled patrons. Access to our room was great with little problem and as stated before, the exceptional staff were always keen to lend any assistance needed.

ROOM: We will always book a wetroom and on this occasion, it had obviously been recently refurbished to a very good standard. There is plenty of room in the bathroom and at last we found a built in shower seat that was big enough for purpose. There are plenty of electric sockets which have been well situated. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy and a good size television which we could actually watch from the bed. I always sleep well in a Premier Inn, but on this occasion I found the matress to be a little uncomfortable. I think it was quite old as you could here and feel the springs all the time. The bed is very low which probably benefits most disabilities, but we need a high bed and as always, the staff had fitted bed risers (elephant feet) prior to our arrival. We stayed for 4 nights on this occasion, so a drawer or two would not have gone amiss.

STAFF: All the staff we met were exceptional and a credit to Premier Inn. Particularly our house keeper Betty was always to hand and ensured out stay went without a hitch. Many thanks to Richard the Receptionist who also ensured we had everything we needed and was first to offer assistance when required.

SUMMARY: Yet another good experience in a Premier Inn but I would recommend that urgent consideration be given to ensuring easier access to the hotel for wheelchair users and their carers.

A big thank you to the staff at greasby premier inn . We arrived Friday 14 th about 2.50 we were greeted by a lovely lady on reception . Had a lovely chat about the area & she said what a lovely area we lived in that being overlooking delamere forest . It is a lovely area but no sea . Hubby and & fancied few walks by the nice quiet seaside areas of the wirral . When we got to our room we couldn't work out how to get the lights to work . Hubby saw a housekeeping lady and asked for assistance what a lovely friendly person she was nothing too much trouble so we had a laugh about these modern gadgets !! Later we went next door for a lovely meal very friendly staff . Enjoyed our meal and the lemon sundee was lush ! All in all we had fab time . Made extra nice by the fab newly refurbished premier inn and very friendly staff . We'll be back !! Many thanks Wendy & Fred .

We stay in Premiers all of the time but have to admit this is one of the best we have stayed in. This was due to the fact that it has obviously been refurbished to a very high standard. I only had one small complaint, in our room the heating control panel was clicking on and off all night and the room was too hot, so I had to open the window to let out the heat, so that made the panel worse. In the end I closed the window and switched the heater off from the wall but unfortunately this didn't solve the problem because for some reason the control panel still continued to click on and off. I am a light sleeper and this was annoying to me but my husband slept like a baby. I reported it to the reception the following day, so hopefully the problem was a one off...

Small reception area with very friendly staff who where happy to chat and make you feel very welcome. From the reception there was an adjoining door to the family friendly pub next door which provides your typical pub grub with very good prices. Not healthy choice, but me and my husband opted for the two 8oz steak deals which was very nice and cooked to our liking.

Stayed here as close to Liverpool for footy match. Its about £20 in a taxi away from Liverpool centre but has main roads in for those driving. Nice bar attached that serves reasonable food for the right price. All in all done the job and rooms where tidy, bar should be open later than 11.30 though.

Lovely room, clean bathroom, wifi easy. Ideal for a shopping trip! Located next to a Fayre and Square pub, so value for money on food in the evening. Bit tight on the old tea bags, only got two, but am being picky! Service and room excellent value for money.

First time in this area and this hotel. Impressed by friendliness of reception staff and overall standard of room, particularly the bathroom. Didn't eat at the next door pub, but understand from relatives who live in the area that it is fine.
