Unlike most other visitors do, we also wanted to have a view from the floor and go for a hike. It was absolutely worth it. To see those crazy rocks from below gives a you the right feeling for their remarkable size.

On this trail you walk down from the canyon rim right between the incredible hoodoo formations. Great for taking photos! It is a little steep in places but not too difficult. Trail is well marked and this is one of the best to get up close to the formations.
A fun and challenging hike in and out of the canyon. You will not experience views like this in many places. A must see at Bryce.
Easy down, tougher up (I guess that's always true...) but this was a good hike for us amateurs. Takes you right down into the canyon. The hoodoos are cool from above, but on this hike when you end up looking up at them, they're amazing.
This is a trail I've hiked many times. It connects with the Navaho Trail and the Peekaboo Trail. There are great views and tunnels. Don't miss this hike. The trailhead starts at Sunrise point.
From this trail you can connect with others once descended and along the way see spectacular scenery with lots of color and forms.....go early am before it gets crowded.
