“Adequate but pricey”
Reviewed 24 July 2012

A family run steakhouse, adjacent to a motel and convenience store owned by the same family. On highway 12, 2 miles west of the turnoff to Bryce Canyon. Decent, tasty dinner for our family of four but the $75 tab was a little surprising. Very modest facility, and understaffed, so service was slow but enthusiastic and friendly.

“Excellent meal”
Reviewed 23 July 2012

Our 1st meal out in Bryce was at Canyon Pines & we were underwhelmed to put it mildly. So, tonight we tried Foster's & are extremely glad we did. All of the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. My wife & I each had a glass of wine that wasn't served in a thimble. She had the prime rib, $16.99, cooked perfectly w/ a baked potato. I had the BBQ chicken, $10.99, w/ baked potato & vegetables. We were also entitled to 1 trip to the salad bar where the salad mixings were fresh and tasty. There aren't many dining options here. Ruby's is always packed with tourist buses so this is the best alternative, in our opinion.

“Food lacked flavor, but at least it was cheap”
Reviewed 22 July 2012 via mobile

Based on reviews we had read on TripAdvisor, we chose Foster's over the buffet at Ruby's. What a mistake. My wife and I both had brisket sandwiches, hers the standard brisket and mine with BBQ sauce. Both consisted of a couple of thin slices of tasteless meat and both plates had just a few French fries on them. We left hungry and dissatisfied, and although the sandwiches weren't expensive, we ended spending more because we had to go out later in the evening for a snack.

Stay away from this place.

“If this was ranked 3 of 5...!”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

With limited dinner options in the Bryce Canyon area, we relied on Trip Advisor reviews and chose Foster's for dinner. The best part of the experience was our efficient, cheerful waitress. Nice scenic view from tables by the large windows. The food was a great disappointment. Sandwiches were skimpy and came with few fries. Left hungry. Not expensive, but not much of a value if you leave hungry.

“wonderful dinner here”
Reviewed 8 July 2012

We went to Foster's on the recommendation of our tour guide.
We found the food excellent as well as the service. We all enjoyed a slice of pie at the end of our meal. All there pies are homemade and delicious!! We found the meal reasonably priced as well
