This trail is a gravel path just off Hwy 12. The trail eventually follows a fast flowing stream created by early settlers who dug a channel to divert water from the East Fork Sevier River. The water is fast moving but shallow (less than 6 inches deep). After passing a couple of walking bridges you will reach an area with a view of a 20 ft waterfall. It also provides access to a hiking trail that leads closer to the Bryce Canyon overlooks as well as to Mossy Lake.
The only warning is to bring Deet as after crossing the second footbridge we were swarmed by gnats.
