“Nice adventure for small children”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

This trail is a gravel path just off Hwy 12. The trail eventually follows a fast flowing stream created by early settlers who dug a channel to divert water from the East Fork Sevier River. The water is fast moving but shallow (less than 6 inches deep). After passing a couple of walking bridges you will reach an area with a view of a 20 ft waterfall. It also provides access to a hiking trail that leads closer to the Bryce Canyon overlooks as well as to Mossy Lake.

The only warning is to bring Deet as after crossing the second footbridge we were swarmed by gnats.

“Easy little trail”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Easy trail. Kids enjoyed the walk and the time they spent in the creek. Also the trail includes the water fall and more awesome views. You have to drive outside the park to go to this trail.

“Was okay”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

I hiked to this, you see a small water fall and further up you can see the cave with moss and water running along the ceiling. Much better sights inside Bryce National Park.

“Nice walk, but getting to the "window" rocks took effort!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

For the most part this is a nice walk. The trail kind of veers off for the cave or you can go on to the top of the waterfall. If you go towards the waterfall, you can get up to the window rocks. I had to walk through the stream to get over to the other side of the trail in order to get to the window rocks. It is a steep path too once you are over the stream. I had on tennis shoes, but really needed something that gripped better. The soil is very loose and kind of rolled under your shoes. We got to the window rocks and the wind was whipping up there! To get back down I walked sideways. I was afraid if I walked straight down that I would slip. You have to be careful if you venture all the way up there. The cave was okay. It is blocked by a fence for the most part. For the same effect, I would recommend Weeping Rock at Zion. At least there you get to go all along the rock and the water is dripping down in front of you. I did enjoy this walk and would recommend it.

“Nice little hike, but cave not much to see”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Water level was low when we were there, but was expecting more from the cave. Easy, quick hike if you have time, but if pressed I would give this one up.
