We began our visit to Canyonlands National Park by stopping at the visitor center. The park entrance booth was closed, so we paid our $10 entry fee in the visitor center. They provided a map of the park, and a ranger was nice enough to point out the 5 main attractions to see inside the park. We were disappointed the visitor center did not have an outdoor faucet to refill water bottles like they have at the Grand Canyon and Arches National Park. Good thing we already filled our bottles before arriving.
They sell typical stuff like postcards and such. Wish they sold food since we did not bring anything to eat. No such luck. A posted sign states there is no food or water available in the park. My advice is to pack a lunch and something to drink when visiting this park.
