I see that people have given mixed reviews and can understand why. The atmosphere is rowdy and very rustic. If you are an outdoors type and up for being a bit silly, you will like this. If not then you would be better off to go a different direction. I do think they need to scale down the story line a bit to make it more enjoyable. The singers/actors were very good but the writers of the skit make it longer than necessary. The food was served home style and was yummy! Really great salmon and ribs and everyone at our table had seconds. I agree it is a bit pricey and if didn't have the Northern Lights BOGO coupon book we would not have considered it. Glad we did though as it was a fun night.

I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality show. It wasn't too long, very clever and I am still reciting some of the lines. The food was standard dinner theatre fare but the interactive nature of the show kept things moving

Used the Alaska TourSaver BOGO coupon for this and felt we got an outstanding deal. As other reviewers have said, the actors/servers are very talented and work very hard to make sure you're enjoying yourself. Unfortunately for us, there was a guy at our table that really had not come to have a good time and spent the majority of the night droning on about himself and his work to the couple nearest him, and then checking his Blackberry, which drove me batty! Oh well...the rest of the table was in it for a good time so I tried to concentrate on them. The food was very good (the cobbler was OUTstanding!) and they had a great system of clearing up quickly. During the show we learned a lot about the history of Denali which was fantastic as we were headed into the Park the next day.

This is a fun attraction to visit but know that (a) audience participation is expected and (b) you will be seated with people you don't know. If either of those things makes you uncomfortable, just don't go. If you're fine with it and want to have a good time, singing along with some songs and laughing at some corny jokes, while having a nice meal, you're going to fit in great!

Do this.

Family style dining.. You're at a long table, somewhat crowded bench seat, food is in buckets, pans on the table, you pass your plate and someone puts food on it. Scrape bones, etc into a pot when done.

The food was surprisingly, very good, plentiful. Ribs, Salmon, corn, beans and berry cobbler.

At first, I was a bit disappointed because it was very loud; hyper.

The servers (later actors) were in costume and created a high energy cabin party atmosphere. But it was hard to have any conversation with people around you.

After dinner they do a show... The actors were excellent, very professional; music was very good; piano player was amazing with her range of standards.

So at first, what the.... but then "Glad we did this." We had fun.

The show was corny, but the singers were quite talented. We enjoyed the music, and the food was better than I expected. Finding our shuttle to leave was a little hectic, but we enjoyed the evening overall.
