This was a very pleasant surprise in Denali. We ate upstairs in the bar and had a great experience. The food was awesome - don't miss the seafood chowder - and the beer was Ice Cold. They have a great selection of draft beers and the bar tender was very helpful in picking out a few "local" micro brews. The halibut sandwich was one of the best I've had, I would definitely go back here for lunch, dinner or happy hour anytime I'm in the area.

We stayed at the Denali Park Village and managed to get a shuttle to this place as we were not happy with the choices we had.
We are so glad we came here. The first thing was how absolutely fantastic our server was, Sam S. She made our evening great. So attentive and really wanted us to be happy with everything we ate. My wife had the Salmon, which was a bit boney for her liking, evidently, thats how their Salmon comes. I had the halibut and it was wonderful. The veggies were a little over peppered and when our server saw that I didn't eat them, she immediately went into the kitchen and made them cook a fresh batch just for me. Wow! Didn't expect that.
Overall, the meal was great, the pricing was reasonable for Alaska and would definitely go back.
The building was rickety and rustic, which added fun to the evening.

Hello, thank you for your feedback! We are so lucky to have Sam on our team and we appreciate you telling us about her service. Funny you mentioned the "rickety" aspect. We're pretty sure there isn't a 90 degree angle in the building. This is our 30th Anniversary and the -70 winters have created a lot of character. We're glad you found it as fun as we do.
We hope you enjoy the rest of your Alaskan vacation! Cheers!

Definitely five stars here. We had salmon bake when we were in seward and decided to try it again. (Sine the "best" rated place is a pizza place, and i had enough about "good pizza reviews " . We had rockfish, baked king salmon, highland mushroom and the seafood chowder. Everyone of em is recommended: D

Thank you for the kind words! We are a funny looking place. This is our 30th Anniversary and the winters at -70F have definitely created some unusual angles. But, we kind of like it that way. Glad to hear you did too. Thanks again for the review! Cheers!

Great service from Pam at the bar. Had crab legs that were a bit disappointing for the price... seemed a bit overcooked and rubbery. The veggies and potato were excellent though and there was a good selection of beers. It wasn't a bad meal but I doubt I'd go back for food again (though I heard good things about the live entertainment)
