My son and I stopped in at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center at the very beginning of our visit to Everglades National Park. It helped us get a "lay of the land" before proceeding into ENP, so we could get information on where we would like to visit during our time in the park. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful in answering our questions. They also gave us useful details that would help our visit to the park, since neither one of us had ever been to ENP before. Overall, it doesn't take long to visit the Coe Visitor Center, but it will help your overall trip to ENP.
