There is a large visitor center full of tourists stopping for a break. The thing I remember most about this place is that there was still feet - yes, feet - of snow in some places. And this was in the middle of summer! I can't imagine how high the snow must get during the middle of winter. No wonder they can't even clear the snow from the Going-to-the-Sun road until late June at the earliest.
