We were lucky enough to have a cabin with a partial view of the Canyon. There's something really nice about having you own little bit of privacy in a place like this.
We arrived a bit early but the reception staff got our room cleaned and ready for us ASAP.
We had a fridge and coffee making machine, just the thing after a walk along the Canyon rim.
The only downer was the WiFi, just managed to get it to work by standing on the toilet and then it dropped out!

This a very good place to stay while you're at Grand Canyon NP. It is in a hut with two single rooms, with a natural and cosy atmosphere. It is very close (50 m) from the south rim and close to about everything.

Room Tip: Book early and ask about the cabins.

In terms of value, you probably can't find a better option inside Grand Canyon (not including camping). Yes, El Tovar nearby is probably much nicer but you know, we had a great time at Bright Angel.

Stopped by the local supermarket, picked up some snacks and booze and had a very enjoyable evening.

Full-size beds are a little small for two adults. Not the most uncomfortable but hey, it guarantees you'll be awake for the amazing sunrise!

As others have said, the cabins are very nice and within walking distance to rim walk, restaurants, other south rim attractions (El Tovar lodge, gift shops, bus stops, etc.). Cabins were very reasonably priced (~ $125/night), and the mini fridge and in-room coffee service is a nice touch. We rented two cabins, and ended up in a duplex cabin, i.e., two separate rooms (each with their own bath) in same cabin structure, with adjourning door, which was very convenient.

Nearby main restaurant at Bridge Angel lodge was very good to eat at, never a wait for a table, even with all the other Christmas tourists here.

You can't beat this location right on the south rim of the Grand Canyon! Price is very reasonable for the location. We booked late so stayed in a room with shower down the hall, which was fine. Toilet and sink in the room. Fridge in the room. Walking distance to several restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would go back next time.
