“Incredible hike”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

This is a great hike, but not for those with a fear of heights or for those that are not in good shape. Start the hike early and take plenty of water. Take your time on the last stretch. The views at the end of the trail are fantastic Do not take young children as there are lots of places they could fall off. This is a hike you won't forget!

“Exciting, great view”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

Great experience!! Go early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds. Bring lots of water. It is a heavy and difficult trail but once you are at the top and have this amazing view, you know it is worth it!!! The last part of the trail to the top is exciting, don't go if you are afraid of heights.

“Do It!”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

People have died attempting Angels Landing, and it's obvious why they have. At some points, the width of the trail is less than two feet wide, with a drop off of 1,500 feet straight down on either side.

Do not attempt this if you have a fear of heights. Do not attempt this if you aren't in excellent shape, with both knees working and good upper body strength. Do not attempt this if you can't climb a stairmaster for long periods. Do not attempt this if you have asthma. You must have great balance, too. NOT recommended for small children you can't control -- they could die. Seriously.

Take water. Take food. Know that you can leave your backpack at Scout's Lookout before the big, last climb, to be lighter and more balanced. This will be one of the hardest things you've ever done.

And then you'll smile at yourself the rest of your life, for having achieved it! It's a once-in-a-lifetime view.

Go! Do it!

“Hike with stunning view at the end”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

This hike along with The Narrows are the definite "must hike" in Zion. The first 2/3 can be physically challenging, and the last 1/3 is psychologically challenging as you are walking on a narrow path with cliff dropoffs on both sides... but you're rewarded with a stunning view of the valley at the end of the hike.

one of my favorite hikes, very hard and scary, chains at the end of a walkway and do not go if heights bother you, totally worth it and I love it
