The hotel is very nicely decorated. I was worried it would be a little kitchy, but the decor is fantastic and just right. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the gulf view is amazing. It is a little on the pricey side, but the hotel lives up to its price. '
The restaurant in the lobby is so-so. I thought the menu to be unimaginative and sparse and I had a hard time finding anything I really wanted to order. The beach bar, Land Shark, is currently only serving hot dogs, which also was too bad, as I would have liked a more expansive menu there. It is a great atmosphere though- a true beach bar.
My only other complaint is that they refused to give us a rollaway bed, citing a fire code. That being the case, if you cannot comfortably sleep your party in the two "queen" beds provided, this hotel might not be for you. But all in all, it was a lovely hotel and a great location.More
