We had a wonderful stay on New Years Eve at Hollis Hill B and B, from the moment we arrived , when we were offered a welcome cup of tea and a slice of Christmas cake till the time we left after a scrumptious breakfast all served with a smile from our lovely host Cindy. The room was beautiful with a huge, very comfy bed , there was a lovely ensuite bathroom, the towel rail heated the whole bedroom it was so warm. The house is beautiful and even though the weather was horrendous there were still pretty views to enjoy over breakfast. The whole house is spotless and the price was amazing especially considering it was New Year. Our host, Ken even offered us a lift to our chosen venue for the evening if we required it, that really shows someone going above and beyond. It is a very homely B and B and we would not hesitate to stay again and would recoment to anyone who is looking for comfort and value for money. Considering that Cindy and Ken are fairly new to running the B and B , there is nothing to show this and they really make you feel at home. A lovely way to spend New Year

We stayed two nights in this pristine, welcoming and beautiful bed and breakfast. It is small so you get the personal touch, brand new so everything is spotless and tastefully furnished. The price is incredibly competitive and it is the sort of place where you immediately start planning when you can return and which of your family and friends you can recommend it to.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms and both are beautiful - you can't go wrong!

Warm welcome in a lovely setting in this eco friendly house. Our room was excellent, spotless, very tastefully decorated and with some nice attention to detail. The en suite continued the eco theme but did not detract from the excellent standard. Breakfast was served by the friendly owner who made our visit most pleasant. We had to drag ourselves away from the beautiful countryside views. Will certainly be visiting again and have no hesitation in recommending this B&B.

We booked Hollis Hill at the last minute. Its a beautiful modern environment with a homely feel. The attention to detail is meticulous, our stay was so comfortable and relaxed, it seemed a shame to be leaving after our two night stay. The double bedroom was a generous size, lovely comfortable bed and en-suite. We had our tea-making facilities along with fresh milk. The breakfast was served in a beautifully appointed room with views for miles over the West Dorset countryside. We were spoilt for choice with our breakfast options, did the full english breakfast (but very healthy!) option and the following morning had the fresh fruit and granola. A great way to start the day. Perfect location for visiting Beaminster and the Jurassic coast. We will definitely be staying her again, not only because of our hosts, Cindy and Ken but because having tried a number of B&B's this beats all the rest.

This was a last minute booking and how lucky we were, the house is beautiful and the views from every window are amazing especially from the dining room. The bedroom was lovely, spacious, clean and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The attention to detail is there down to fresh milk for a cuppa in your room, home made biscuits, all the toiletries you need and free wifi too. Cindy and Ken were so friendly and welcoming, the afternoon tea and cake was a real treat and the breakfasts were superb. Close to Lyme Regis, Bridport and West Bay. We will definitely be going back and will recommend to friends and family.

We wanted somewhere to use as a base for travelling around this part of Dorset. Hollis Hill proved to be the right choice. The rooms were excellent and the owners (Cindy and Ken) most welcoming. Cindy took great care to make sure the food met our requirements (Me being Diabetic). As important, was the excellent countryside views during the day and the view of the stars when the nights were clear. This is certainly a place we will go back to again and again.

Room Tip: Limited choice but as all rooms are excellent -what matters
