We stayed for two nights in this beautiful luxury wooden eco house. Made so welcome by owners Cindy and Ken who made us feel immediately at home. Tea and cake on arrival was delicious. Amazing breakfast menu - we had Cindy's full English breakfast - delicious poached eggs from her chickens. Beautiful immaculately clean, comfortable ensuite bedroom with stunning views over the countryside. Great base for walkers with a variety of rural walks close by. Lovely local pub 10 mins walk away in the village serving great food, very welcoming. Visiting Hollis Hill really helped us recharge our batteries and we can't wait to go back again.

My boyfriend and I visited at the end of January. As soon as we entered we were made feel very most welcome by our hosts Cindy and Ken.

The weather was awful so the cream tea that Cindy provided was very much appreciated.

Our room was extremely cosy and had a massive bed that was extremely comfortable.( I am stealing your deco ideas for my own room!)

Breakfast was lovely, being a vegetarian I endure the constant worry what will I eat. I shouldn't have, as Cindy provided the most gorgeous breakfast, with the added bonus of a beautiful country views while we ate in the hall.

I don't usually write reviews , but on this occasion I felt I needed too. Especially as Cindy also posted clothing back to me that I'd forgotten!

Please don't change a thing! See you in the summer!

P.s Cindy makes the yummiest chocolate cake!

We had a wonderful stay on New Years Eve at Hollis Hill B and B, from the moment we arrived , when we were offered a welcome cup of tea and a slice of Christmas cake till the time we left after a scrumptious breakfast all served with a smile from our lovely host Cindy. The room was beautiful with a huge, very comfy bed , there was a lovely ensuite bathroom, the towel rail heated the whole bedroom it was so warm. The house is beautiful and even though the weather was horrendous there were still pretty views to enjoy over breakfast. The whole house is spotless and the price was amazing especially considering it was New Year. Our host, Ken even offered us a lift to our chosen venue for the evening if we required it, that really shows someone going above and beyond. It is a very homely B and B and we would not hesitate to stay again and would recoment to anyone who is looking for comfort and value for money. Considering that Cindy and Ken are fairly new to running the B and B , there is nothing to show this and they really make you feel at home. A lovely way to spend New Year

We stayed two nights in this pristine, welcoming and beautiful bed and breakfast. It is small so you get the personal touch, brand new so everything is spotless and tastefully furnished. The price is incredibly competitive and it is the sort of place where you immediately start planning when you can return and which of your family and friends you can recommend it to.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms and both are beautiful - you can't go wrong!

Warm welcome in a lovely setting in this eco friendly house. Our room was excellent, spotless, very tastefully decorated and with some nice attention to detail. The en suite continued the eco theme but did not detract from the excellent standard. Breakfast was served by the friendly owner who made our visit most pleasant. We had to drag ourselves away from the beautiful countryside views. Will certainly be visiting again and have no hesitation in recommending this B&B.

We booked Hollis Hill at the last minute. Its a beautiful modern environment with a homely feel. The attention to detail is meticulous, our stay was so comfortable and relaxed, it seemed a shame to be leaving after our two night stay. The double bedroom was a generous size, lovely comfortable bed and en-suite. We had our tea-making facilities along with fresh milk. The breakfast was served in a beautifully appointed room with views for miles over the West Dorset countryside. We were spoilt for choice with our breakfast options, did the full english breakfast (but very healthy!) option and the following morning had the fresh fruit and granola. A great way to start the day. Perfect location for visiting Beaminster and the Jurassic coast. We will definitely be staying her again, not only because of our hosts, Cindy and Ken but because having tried a number of B&B's this beats all the rest.
