Mjarr is a typical Maltese village in the north of Malta with its large church at the centre. The village has various restaurants that are frequented, in the main, by Maltese. In the last 2 years this wine bar has opened and this is the second time this year we have visited with the first time being April. The atmosphere is superb with it being tightly packed with all sorts of decorations necessary to set the scene of a rustic wine bar. The Maltese element is, of course, partly the wine, the delicious Maltese platter and the Maltese service by the owner; superb. Having dined out at some of Malta's finest restaurant's this visit, this place in its way was no less enjoyable and if people want to visit a Maltese gem which will leave a memory, then visit this place.
