Lovely rock formations. Access to the boats is down a fairly steep road. Malta apparently gets windy and the day we visited it was windy and the sea was quite rough. The tour guide thought that they might stop the boat trips because of this. Care is needed when transferring to the boats because of the swell. Be ready to ride the waves and get a bit wet. The blue certainly was vivid and we explored a few of the alcoves and caves including the Blue Grotto. Thought that the caves on Majorca and Capri were better but that is personal taste. It is so sad that such a lovely beauty spot is marred by litter at the viewpoint. On the return journey we visited the pretty fishing village of Marsaxlokk. The harbour has many colourfully painted fishing boats and plenty of restaurants and cafes.
