This was third year staying at Sheldon House whilst walking the Limestone Way. I have completed this walk for the last eighteen years and Sheldon House is by far the best accommodation we have stayed at. The welcome by Louise and Stephen cannot be faulted even if you arrive well muddy from day in the bad weather. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is superb.
The Bull's head is just a short walk away with an excellent menu but the portions are very large so be careful.
We had to abandon the second day's walk due to a minor illness but Louise contacted us after a couple of days to see that everything was OK which I thought was a very nice and caring gesture . We shall hopefully be there again next year. Just to mention the dogs they are great!

We have stayed in a number of cottages across the UK but this beats them all. Louise and Stephen were on hand to make us feel very welcome and the cottage lacked for nothing. Very comfortable to stay in and relax in or recover from a great days walking with the dog. Monyash is a lovely little village with endless walking on hand. No mobile signal or wifi actually add to the relaxation rather than detract from it. We booked to go back straight away. Can't recommend it enough

I cannot agree more with other reviews, this is an outstanding B&B. We stayed one night and would highly recommend for longer stays, the hospitality from Louise and Stephen is lovely.

Our room and en-suite was spectacularly clean and there was so much attention to detail to make us guests feel welcome and comfortable. Home made shortbread and sweets in the room very thoughtful and the breakfast is stunning in their wonderful charming home - perfect!

Room Tip: Green room was so cosy

This is a lovely property in a great location. The cottage is excellently appointed and spotlessly clean.

The owners, Louise and Stephen, are most welcoming and obviously take pride in what they do.

Very highly recommended.

We have just had a lovely break in this great B&B. From the first meeting with Louise and Stephen, to leaving on Sunday morning, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable in their home.
The room had everything we needed and the homemade cakes in our room on both days was a very tasty treat.
The house is in a great position with walks in all directions, including the Limestone Way and is close to the pub were the food is very good. There is also a café in the village but we did not use it, as after Louise's fantastic breakfast we were not hungry until the evening.
All in all we had a great time and hope to go back in the future.
