Stayed with two friends on a night out. Our room was £100 and we had two double beds and a fold down. The room was huge, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. I've stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints.

Have stayed at the Bexleyheath Marriott several times over the last year and overall was pleased with service. I think the rooms themselves are a little dated and could do with modernising or brightening up but they are spotlessly clean and beds comfortable. They are the plus sides but oh dear, on our last visit a week ago we parked as normal in the car park and was so pleased we managed to get a space out the front, we checked in and gave our registration number and upon checking out we paid the £5 a day. One week later when we got home we received in the post a parking fine for £100, needless to say we were furious so immediately phoned the Marriott to complain, we were asked to email info to them and they would sort out. I was a little annoyed to say the least as it was not our mistake it was theirs and they should have had all the info needed to sort out. I received am email in reply saying the fine would be waived, no apology was received, which is the least that should happen and as for waivering the fine it made it sound like they were doing us a favour! We will continue to stay at this hotel as it is so convenient but next time lets hope this does not happen again and obviously an apology would go a long way.

Stayed here at the beginning of May for one night, booked a family room and had two double beds in a very spacious, clean room. Breakfast was very good, but the breakfast room was rather busy on the Sunday morning, as I think there had been a wedding function on that weekend. Overall, very nice stay.

Spent 3 nights here over the weekend while attending the GT racing at Brands Hatch. Hotel itself is very clean and bright. Reception was attentive and even provided free juice upon checking in, which I thought was a nice touch.

Was a little disappointed that I did not get a room upgrade as a platinum guest, nor any acknowledgement at check-in as a platinum member or offer of free breakfast as should be standard.

Room was nice, very happy to have a fridge in the room to keep my bottled waters and soda cold and the evening bottles of lemonade and water for turndown were a nice touch. Bathroom was spacious and easy to move around in.

Only other complaint would be how difficult it is to get from the car park to the hotel. It's crazy to have to walk up almost 20 stairs from the courtyard area to the entrance door with luggage in hand. Whoever came up with that design feature wasn't very smart...

Our girls group went for an afternoon tea at the Marriott on April 27th. The organiser of our get together had to call and pop round again and again to sort out issues. On the day they had not cancelled some of the teas (some members couldn't come), but did know about a change in orders (which was called through at the same time). They wanted us to pay for one of the cancelled tea because it had already been prepared. This all despite having to pay a £5 deposit each on a tea of £15.50. Anyway. One of our group couldn't have cream, which they had not remembered. She was offered a cup cake instead of the petit fours. Then the cup cake was unavailable too. Our poor organiser was so disappointed that despite all her efforts it seemed to go wrong. Thankfully the Marriott kitchen staff quickly put some petit fours together without cream which looked the part too (think macaroons with a lemon curd in the middle). When we wanted the bill there was no staff for a good 5 minutes. Even when some of our party went looking for them, no staff could be spotted. In the end it was a nice meeting due to the people who came and the food served was good, but all the issues surrounding the booking was very distracting. We will not be returning.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for having afternoon tea with us. I am sorry to hear that your afternoon tea didn't go as planned. We did try to follow the policy of charging for afternoon tea if not cancelled two hours in advance as the afternoon tea items are made ready. I am aware we still served you with the items that were cancelled but as you were not happy with that the restaurant manager still did not charge you for those items.

I do understand and agree with your points about the cancellation and hence effective immediately we are changing our policy and will only be charging the people who came nd keep the deposit only for the covers that did not.

Again I would like to apologise for not being able to meet your expectations please but would be grateful if you were to consider again. Please do get in touch with me directly so I can overlook your arrangements personally next time.
Yours Sincerely

I've stayed in this hotel more than 20 times over the last 3 years. The location is excellent not far from the M25 (about 10-15 minutes). The hotel is near the town centre, which gives good options for dining out. On one visit we got a free upgrade to the bridal suite, which had a four poster bed. The last four times we have stayed in the same suite, which we have not requested, just found ourselves in the same room. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Very quiet rooms facing the courtyard. Lovely breakfast with the best sausages. Room service not up to standard - food arrived more than one hour wait and the food was cold- prefer eating out. I've not tried the pool or spa facilities as we always get there late.

Last visit we were put in a standard room. Phoned reception to say we didn't have bathrobes. We were immediately upgraded to a suite, found ourselves in the suite we had stayed the last visit. The staff member was very efficient and offered to send a porter to help with our luggage. We didn't have much and we were happy to collect new key at reception

It's worth joining the Marriott Rewards Programme as they do look after you, especially the upgrade to a suite. Free wifi for Gold members too

Room Tip: Courtyard rooms are quieter.

We spent one night here on a weekend to London. Our room was huge with two big queen beds for the 4 of us and in lovely condition and very clean. There were all sorts of lovely little extras for Easter, such as eggs for the children, face painting and wine for the adults. It was nice and quiet during the night, although there was minor noise from the main road below which would have been worse on a lower floor. We used the pool etc which was nice, but the changing rooms need a refurb, although still lovely and clean. The breakfast was fantastic, the best I've ever had with omelettes made to order, lots of choice. This stay has made me want to stay in more Marriotts and the staff here are really lovely.

Room Tip: Ask for the back rooms to avoid road noise
