We had a comfortable room with a balcony overlooking in the distance hills and fields. There is a road close by so we had to shut the balcony door overnight. A courtyard facing room would be quieter. The breakfast was upto the normal Marriott standard with plenty of choice. I was slightly disappointed as gold elite member that there was little acknowledgement of that at check in and the usual benefits had to be requested. There was a nice pool and it was kept very clean however the changing room was a little cold. The Copper restaurant served a good selection of food with reasonable portion sizes and not too expensive. There is free wifi in public areas but on the room it is only free to Marriott elite members

Room Tip: A courtyard facing room would be quieter

I stayed in marriot for 5 days, the spa here is small but the massage was very good.

The room is good, not too luxury but its very comfortable and clean, the bed is good, the air conditioning is very good, room temperature very comfortable. Well maintained

Check in was great, very friendly and helpful.

Car park very full on weekends and we have to wait up for a spot.

There are quite some stairs, that's real, I need to carry luggages up 2 separate stairs to room but this is hardware, their service is good in return. That's important.

They even gave my daughter lovely birthday cakes.

While I stayed in Langham Melbourne now, double the price, informing them my daughter is spending her birthday in the hotel 2 months ago when i booked the hotel. they didn't even give us a single piece of paper.

I mentioned about my daughter birthday to come by accident only and they did make my little one very happy with some cakes and chocolate.

Price is affordable and I think it's a safe and good choice. It's a good hotel.

On arrival we found the car park, there is a cost of £5 per day for hotel guests, the parking spots are tight, especially if you are disabled and need to open the doors wide, there are only 2 disabled bays at the front of the hotel, therefore it would be more helpful if there were more disabled bays within the car park or at the front of the hotel.

Check in, there were refreshing drinks of apple juice or orange, which was very welcome after a long hot drive. Check in was excellent; the lady was very friendly, efficient and made us feel welcome.

Our room was on the 2nd floor reached by a lift and we were very pleased to discover we had a balcony, which was an added bonus on a warm evening., a couple of chairs would have made it perfect!

The room was very clean; the bedding was in excellent condition, no stains or tears. The mattress was not the best we have had but we had an excellent nights sleep. Our room was over looking a very busy road, but once the windows were shut we could not hear any traffic at all. The air con was welcomed and it was of a good standard.

Bathroom was very clean, big towels and the usual shampoo, soap etc available. Shower was good.

Tea and coffee available, as usual we had to ask for more milk, coffee and sugar, but this was delivered promptly on request.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, fresh filter coffee was served at the table and there was an egg station offering fried, poached or omelettes.

The staff were excellent, every member of staff we encountered were friendly, opened conversation with us and at every opportunity asked us if we were happy with the hotel and the service. They made us feel valued.

After two other stays at Marriott Hotels, York and Preston, where service was not as good as we expect, Bexleyheath has restored our faith in the Marriott brand and we shall return again in the very near future.

Well done Bexleyheath Hotel Staff, you are an example of how it should be done!

Stayed at this hotel on 8th/9th August 2014 as we were going to a wedding at nearby Eltham Palace. I have used Marriott Hotel's before so when I saw this one I had no hesitation in booking it. Reasonable price for, just over £100 a night for a hotel with London a short train ride away. Arrived early Friday afternoon and had no problem getting a car parking space, however on the Sunday morning when we were leaving the car park appeared to be full. £5 a day parking, but that is the norm for down South and hitting the motorists. Why not just include it in the price of the room, and if the customer does not have a car, then knock off £5. If they did this nobody would comment on the car park charge, and customers with no cars will be happy having £5 knocked off their bill.
Efficient check in with everything explained. Clean, comfortable well equipped room. Yes you could find fault if you wanted to, but your paying £100 a night, not a £1000 in central London in a posh hotel.
Needed to travel into London Friday evening to Chinatown for a meal. Staff were very helpful in advising us the best way to get there. Short £5 taxi ride to Bexleyheath station (Local taxi firm recommended by the hotel, so we were not ripped off). Train journey straight into Charing Cross and the centre of all the main attractions and Chinatown.
Only had breakfast at the hotel, everything you would need to suit every taste from full English to omelettes, fruit, yogurts, pastries, toast, jams etc.
All the staff were friendly and polite.
I would have no hesitation in using this hotel as a base for a London break.

Stayed at the Bexleyheath Marriot first weekend in July. Lovely welcome of a refreshing juice as we walked into reception to check in, especially as just had a long drive and a ferry. Fab location. Lovely clean, spacious room and bathroom. And quiet. Agree with other reviewers regarding wifi, should be free in bedrooms, a bit cheap on the Marriots part to charge for that. Good quality and choice at breakfast. Gym and pool good. Have stayed here a few times and will continue to do so when visiting family in the area.
