“Possibly, no definitely, the most”
Reviewed 20 February 2013

eccentric hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying at.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful, apart from one, the rooms are perfectly ok except when the heating breaks (they did eventually find me another room at 1/2 past midnight).
From the zebra stripe chairs in the bar to the motor racing picture in the restaurant it is a strange mix of all kinds of stuff that doesn't match and has no theme.
It has a certain gallic charm though which has led me back on several occasions.
You kind of have to go to know what I mean.
The used to have an upside down christmas tree as well, don't know if this past Christmas was the same.
Sums the place up really.
I'll be back though.

Returning to USA from super holiday in Carcasonne and Dordogne we needed to have a stopover for one night. Failed to book early and was left with little choice. Did not review this hotel before staying and am glad I didn't. I found the staff pleasant and engaging and went out of their way to help. The price weas very competitive at 100 Euros midweek with no notice and for one night only. Before the critics complain you need to compare oranges with oranges. The room was a little dated but clean comfortable and furnished to a reasonable standard. I suppose the people that have no complaints rarely review but I have given this hotel 4 genuine stars based upon my experience. The Gymnasium was superbly equipped and the food was cooked to a good standard. Overall as a stopover I would highly recommend this hotel. It is only 20 minutes from Orly International airport. I have stayed in hotels far worse and found it incredible that guests could describe their stay as terrible. As one approaches Orly one is spending at least twice as much as this hotel.

Room Tip: Photos on web site gives a clear indication of the quality.

This hotel could be so much more.
Most of the staff are quite helpful, but there is one senior one who just don't want to work at weekends.
By that i mean if there are not a lot of people in, 'he' will just shut the bar and restaurant.
We were staying at villa complex next door for a good period of time, and had supposed use of the hotel facilities (there is no swimming pool by the way), but on a number of occasions he either wouldn't open them, or even worse when in the bar, he would say he was tired (fatigue) - just after you had purchased drinks - and wanted to shut it. And we are not talking late at night, but on a Friday at 8pm.

Room Tip: If you are going to stay anywhere in this locality, stay at the self catering complex next door whic...

large hotel from the 60/70s, very retro, looking rather tired.
bed was very lumpy and the room flooded during the night from somewhere with an inch of water all over the floor soaking everything, clothes, bags... the lot. Spent the morning having breakfast with wet feet and trouser rolled up to knees.
Told multiple staff who were typically indifferent and shrugged their shoulders and offered to do nothing about it other than present us with our bill. They were not interested in even seeing the flood as I assume it was a normal occurance.
Due to the damp the room smelled pretty bad upon to collect our wet bags and the flooding had continued with still no one interested after 2 hours.
Didn't eat an evening meal but as we were checking out there was a couple complaining to the checkout desk that the food was truly terrible.

Shabby room with old fashioned poorly maintained furniture, clogged pipes, dark dining room that prevents you from seeing what you eat, ...
Makes you regret you did not book a Formule 1 for one third of the price.
