We have breakfast from here all the time at work, it's decent price compared to most places in Tarporley but the breakfast sandwiches aren't great. The portion is a good size but the sausages aren't good quality and although the bacon is better quality the fat on them is always undercooked and slimy.

Based on the other reviews I can only assume that the rest of the menu is much nicer.

Dear Lisa,

Thank you for taking the time to write an informative review. We are always seeking and striving for a quality product.

It surprised us to read that despite your colleagues being regular, returning customers that you experienced a lower quality product.

We have had nothing but good reviews about our sausages to date having spent a great deal of time researching and evaluating the opinions of our regular customers which bought us to our current choice of sausage. The sausages we use have one of the highest proportion of pork of any sausages available and also use British pork.

With regard to the bacon, we source locally in large quantities and like all of our hot food, it is cooked to order at the time of ordering which is why at busy periods there is sometimes a short wait unlike other businesses which use 'keep hot' practices.

Whilst we always try to get the best quality produce, we don't raise the pigs so we cannot always guarantee consistent pork constitution however we constantly monitor and feedback to the supplier any issues so we will be sure to pass on your comments.

We pride ourselves on attempting to provide exactly what our customers like and a regular request is that of 'crispy bacon' and I'm sure as a regular customer, you were aware of this but simply forgot to pass the message onto your colleagues who placed the order.

We also do not grill our bacon in an attempt to prevent drying and loss of flavour. This extra succulence may have resulted in the unexpected moisture content you mention however we have never had any reports of 'slime'.

We would have been more than happy to rectify the situation in person or simply by picking up the phone at the time had we been informed but given the time which has elapsed we have been unable to do this and regret that fact.

We are grateful of all feedback as it is always beneficial for us in order to improve our service and we value the opinion of all of our customers.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to write your review and we sincerely hope you're next purchase and that of your regular custom colleagues will be an improvement.

We look forward to seeing you in store.

Came in for coffee as always it was delicious. Decided to have a breakfast wrap for a change and it was amazing. Just like the staff who always have time for a chat with you. A must visit if your passing through Kelsall. Also dog friendly and will supply a fresh bowl of water for your furry friend.

It's always a pleasure to welcome a smiling customer and their four-legged friends. We're also more than happy to give them a refreshing drink, especially in this hot weather.

Were pleased you enjoyed your wrap. Wraps of all varieties have become very popular and is great that you enjoyed your alternative to bread. Come back soon!

bap we have had in a long time.I had heard about this place and we decided to cycle over and take a look.
The quality of coffee in coffee shops is always an issue for me but here the coffee was good and strong just how I like it.
The bacon baps were a big hit with both of us thoroughly enjoyed them. There is a varied menu to suit most people and also a good variety of milk options eg soya coconut etc.
The only downside of this coffee shop for us was the lack of a toilet but the pub across the road is ideally situated.
We were grateful for the advice about the route home also.We will hopefully make it over that way again...

Hi Elaine

Thanks for the glowing review. I'm sorry I didn't see this until now.

The toilet issue is one the whole village suffers from unfortunately.

I'm glad that our food and drink hit the spot though. That's what we are here for and we are always striving to improve.

We hope to see you soon!
