Broomers has a history which is quite hard to imagine considering the current decor however, given the new, young and vibrant owners, this reflects their personalities and the particular "vibe" they wish to impart; that's not to say that Broomers caters for only young people, on the contrary, it is a very versatile restaurant/pub which serves some amazingly delicious food combinations and wicked cocktails! We have enjoyed many a meal at Broomers and each time it is timeously delivered and beautifully cooked. They stock our favourite wine and it is always perfectly chilled. We have come to know the owners personally and they are genuine folk who have a passion for what they do. Broomers is not a gourmet establishment but it is a friendly place which offers gastronomical delight and there is always something a little new or quirky to try and one always leaves there feeling quite resplendent with good food and drink. The thing we like the most about Broomers is that the owners and staff take a personal interest in their patrons and remember their names, favourite tipple and place to sit...... well done Rosie & Garrit, we love your place and we're almost done with working our way through the entire menu!

Under new management (ex Fish on the Pond owners). They bring a new exciting dimension to this restaurant that has a great vibe abd a good menu. Well worth a visit.

It was OK to try out Broomers but we won't be back if we want to eat out. Menu is limited and there is little ambition, it's more a list for a snackbar. We ordered a beef burger, spare ribs, calamari, some fish and a steak. Steak was ordered medium-rare and got it very well done, tough meat in a country with the best beef in the world. The other dishes were just OK, but nothing more. Service was friendly but not knowledgeable (do you want ice with your shiraz?) and probably without proper training. Broomers lacks atmosphere, trying to be modern but it just doesn't work. Sorry, won't be back.

we have visited Broomers on several occassions as we own a holiday home in Southbroom. Our last visit was on May 3rd 2012 and it has recently changed owners. The menu has changed to a pizza/burger based affair which was a real shock. I can only presume it is targeting the teens? Food was forgetful and the restaurant unfortunately lacks any atmosphere.
Staff were cheery enough but not appropriately dressed for an evening restaurant.
Their website home page says it all "Holiday
We take a break and are back on the 15th of February with a new Menu"
I don't think they should have come back - still no menu - not good.

Our random, late evening visit in this restaurant, gave us a lot of satisfaction. The food was great, especially lamb and beef fillet. The interior is very modern, slightly over-arranged, but the quality of the food faultless.
