We go to the Waterline every year to enjoy the food and the music.
The food is consistently excellent, as is the music.
This year we celebrated my birthday; even got a candle on our chocolate cheesecake!
There are 2 guitar players, ands a singer. They play a combo of pop, rock and roll. this year Elvis showed up, but we left early and missed. him.
The setting is classic Cook Island, overlooking the beach on an elevated deck.
Two other visitors shared their birthdays as well.
A warm and convivial setting; but bring cash; they do not accept credit cards!

Great food and the most beautiful setting for a meal. We had a great meal both nights we ate here while watching a stunning sunset with whales breaching just a few hundred meters from the beach. A perfect spot for a relaxing evening with great hosts.

Found this place when we arrived, had a bite of lunch. The restaurant is by the sea (not many aren't) the service was friendly and welcoming (standard in the Cooks). The food was fresh, tasty and the setting was just so perfect. We ended up eating here for breakfast on Sunday and the meal was as tasty as our lunch. Of course we did the trifecta and ate here on our second last night. The food is cooked fresh, presented well and tastes great. Overall the place had an ambience that was typically tropical with service staff to match. Unfortunately we missed out on the band night on Wednesday because we didn't book, so next time I will be booking a seat for this particular event. The restaurant only takes cash and the price of food and beverages is comparable with the rest of the eating establishments on the island. I am a huge fan and wish them all the very best. Staff remembered us and we were always made to feel almost like family. Fantastic.

We were priviledged to go there on a Wednesday where not only was Island Groove playing but a local (Paul) was having his 50th birthday party. When we booked the owner was quite apologetic that we would have to share our night out with a sizeable party, presumably because she suspected they might get quite loud.

Well they did, but frankly the entertainment was one of the highlights of our trip. Paul with his Irish dad (kitted out all in green) and Cooks Mum turned out to be the local "Elvis" and put on quite a show for all, and then his guests had a turn. What can I say but note that those Cook Islanders sure had some talent for a country of only 15000 people. The 18 year old opera singer singing "O Sole Mio" was a highlight, as was the band itself but there were absolutely no duds, made our group (3 related families, 11 in all) feel quite inadequate with our musical skills.

Superb night had by all so thanks to Paul and his party for choosing the night we were there. Oh, and the food isnt bad either! Go the fish in my opinion!

Its a very nice place to watch the sunset also.

Busy little restaurant, great service and food. The owner was present both times we ate there, whether that is why is so good, I don't know. Food was excellent, you might have to wait a while, but only because it is busy. Take it easy you are on holiday
