My daughter and I recently holidayed at Crown Beach Resort in Rarotonga and had the most fabulous time. It is one of the most relaxing and beautiful places on earth. My daughter has Celiac's Disease and we researched best places to eat at etc, but then we meet NAZIM who is the chef at Crown Beach. He is simply amazing and couldn't do enough to accommodate my daughters needs. He went out of his way to make sure she was happy and his meals were to die for, he listened to her and did not make her feel uncomfortable as sometimes happens. Suburb service and amazing experience. Thank you Crown Beach and especially Nazim.

Came here for lunch on Sun Mar 23, The staff were a bit of a mixed bag, One girl was lovely...The other woman whilst polite wasn't overly friendly.

Fish and Chips and a blue curacao cocktail, Great open air place to dine and sit out on the ocean. The food was good quality and served in a timely manner.

Would recommend!

Came here for dinner and ordered some drinks and just a couple of mains. Drinks eventually turned up and then the wait for dinner started. Sure you are on island time but this was the longest island time i have had. Got out meals about an hour after ordering them and they were very good so worth the wait. However the poor couple who ordered at the same time we did were still waiting for there meal as we were leaving, a good hour and a half later. Maybe the kitchen was short staffed that night but it wasnt a good look.

Kia Orana,

Thank you for your comments about the slow service at Oceans Restaurant.

We have been experiencing delays in food production as a result of staff shortages due to illness. We are recruiting more chefs to alleviate this problem.

We are pleased to read you enjoyed your meals, when they were finally delivered to your table and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for dining with us and we hope to see you again, soon.

We stayed at the Crown Beach Resort for 8 nights and had the most amazing lunches and dinners at Oceans Restaurant. Definite value for money and the best meals on the island. The cocktail list was impressive and we recommend sharing a goldfish bowl cocktail on a sun lounger by the beach. Gorgeous ... take me back!!!

very friendly staff let us choose were we would like to sit, On the beach of course and we had more than one waiter\waitress checking on us constantly. We order a beer and cocktail which came quickly and my scallop entrée was excellent although I usually expect 6 not 5 unless they are extra large. I ordered rare fillet steak which was on potato with beans (nice) and jus. As usual the chef made it medium instead of rare but over all very good. Good size meal so no room for dessert but we ordered two red wines and sat closer to the lovely Island girl who was playing\singing live music. They forgot about our wines and when asked they offered an extra round on the house which we didn't take them up on but appreciated their service. 8.5/10 .
