Stayed here with my husband for 2 weeks in a Deluxe Beachfront room. Room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed and the spa bath was fabulous. Hotel is full of noisy kids and drunk Kiwis. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of variety. Meals are reasonably priced but there are plenty of restaurants on the island. Some staff were lovely, others were belligerent. Sitting on the balcony at sunset was the quietest time and so relaxing. Snorkeling out the front was good. Head up the road to Blackrock for better snorkeling and surfing. Fruits of Rarotonga has excellent snorkeling. Will come back to Rarotonga but not to the Edgewater.

We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed our stay. Our first night was in a different room, as they had overbooked, but we were given $100 resort credit for the inconvenience, which we spent on food and beverage. Rooms are nice enough, but could do with a bit more wow factor. We had a bit of an ant problem but there was spray provided to get rid of them.
The annoying thing was the roosters and their wake up call at 4am in the morning!

Never having been to an ‘island’, our introduction via Edgewater Resort & Spa will not be forgotten any time soon. From the ‘awesome staff’ (including Rayasa, ‘Mr Henry’, Jenny ... and many more) to the food, entertainment, daily activities, accommodation, views .... and much more. Simply awesome and we can’t wait for our next trip. The only downsides were we did not stay long enough, and clothes were tighter on our return, and only there for six days!! Well done Edgewater!!

Room Tip: If you wish to have kitchen/cooking facilities, check this out first. However food choices onsite-offsite are vast.

Great staff, friendly especially, Peter Pan (activities) Esther and Lenore, only bad comment was from Mene (bar staff) who referred to our friend as a "bloody Kiwi", that kiwi is helping to pay your wages buddy. Would go back though food and over all experience just great.

Room Tip: nothing to close to the pool, too noisey,

I stayed for four nights. The cost was reasonable and included a continental breakfast each morning. The room was clean and had plenty of space and all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was pretty good with the usual fare plus fresh coconut and nice fresh muffins each day.
They also had wifi but it was pretty expensive and ran out very quickly. I would recommend getting a blue sky account - much better value.
Also included was free snorkeling gear which I used on the final day to look at the sealife and coral right in front of the resort. This was a nice bonus.

They also had a car hire place on site (Polynesian car rentals) which was most helpful and a good way to go around the island and yes the island night was excellent!
