I work in Hospitality and am fairly well-traveled. The staff at the Magic Reef couldn't be more friendly or welcoming. The bungalows were spacious and it was easy to save some money by cooking our own meals. The location was perfect for us: a beautiful, uncrowded beach with a view of the sunset. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We would come back to the Magic Reef in a heartbeat.

I have just spent 17 days in the amazing Rarotonga, staying at Magic Reef Bungalows. What an experience. The new owner Angela and her lovely staff were so friendly and welcoming. The bungalows are all stand alone. They spacious and beautifully furnished with a huge four post bed, matching furniture, lovely outdoor shower and bath and immaculately presented. They have a wonderful pool, large outdoor loungers that are so comfortable and that fantastic hammock on the beachfront is just in the right place to relax. I spent many an evening sitting on the deck watching the gorgeous sunsets. There are lovely restaurants only a stroll away along the beach in either direction and great snorkelling a short drive up the road. I fully recommend staying with Angela and her crew if you want a quite break away from the hustle and bustle of a busy lifestyle.

Room Tip: Units 1 - 6 have the best beach views

I spent the first week of November at Magic Reef, the new owner Angela and her staff are excellent. They really made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The Bungalows are quite large, beautiful and clean and are very nice to stay in. The four poster beds are huge. The private outside shower/bath area is great. The communal area on the beach is a lovely place to spend the early evening and watch the sunset with a beer and to meet the other guests or just to read your book on one of the loungers. Magic Reef is in such a good location, it's handy to great restaurants and the local vehicle hire and store are a short stroll down the road. I will certainly be going back with family and friends, thanks again Angela and your team.

Fantastic start to our Cook Island holiday. The Magic Reef accommodation and environment were the absolute tops. Individual units well situated so all could get a view of the beautiful beach.
Rooms were immaculate. What we liked was the traditional feel of the place - all to do with the way they had been built and decorated.
Grace we will certainly be recommending your place - will be our first option on any future holidays in the Cooks.

Room Tip: Any room would be good but there are some on the beach front that would be tops.

This must be the ultimate , beautiful beach, wonderful bungalows, great sunsets, superb staff and all at reasonable price. This is a little resort that does everything that the big ones do, but so much better, it lives up to its name, just. Magic
