“Love the Tryall Beach Cafe!”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

The new chef has raised the bar on menu options (and service, too!) at the casual Beach Cafe across from the Pro Shop. The outdoor grill is a marvelous step up in options offering aromatic, delicious chicken, chops, fish and shrimp hot off the grill. Will lobster be next? Hors d'oeuvres at the Monday Night Manager's Cocktail are better than ever too! Two weeks ago, the waiters actually circulated with trays of escargot! We washed it down with complimentary white wine and begged him to come back in 4 minutes ... which he did! Last year, Jamaica was named Best Caribbean Destination for Food. Tryall's new menus prove out that much-deserved kudo!

“Golf Course”
Reviewed 10 April 2014

The course has 4 holes along the ocean and the caddies are very helpful in terms of course knowledge. The prices were reasonable and I didn't need a tee time. Played in under 3.5 hours!

“amazing”
Reviewed 6 April 2014 via mobile

amazing view! i really not that good at golf but the caddy was so nice and helpful, i could play with the big boys with is help. when you get to the water wheel locals will try to sell you beautiful wood carvings, we always buy them because we feel like we should give back. there is a beer cart that comes around with drinks and snacks. if you run out of balls don't worry the ground keeper sells old balls for a good price . love it here and will go back.

“A Championship Course in Jamaica - bring extra balls”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

The Tryall Golf Course is a wonderful 18 hole course that is almost three courses in one. It has a handful of waterside/vies holes, some fairly level ones and six that head up the side of the mountain and offer spectacular views.

This is a very good layout that requires some real shot making while offering some real risk/reward choices. Highlights include the waterside fourth, the seventh where the championship tees call for you to tee off through the arches of an aqueduct and the fourteenth which is spectacular downhill.

The course has generous ladies and senior tees which allows this challenging layout to be enjoyed by all. Bring some extra balls, as between the water and the relatively tight fairways, you may find you'll lose a few if you are not on target.
