Arrived in pouring rain and were a little surprised by the "ski chalet" appearance compared to our expectations but could not have been more impressed by the place itself. The view of Addo was across a road so relatively distant but we had binoculars and enjoyed watching around 30 elephants plus ostrich, various buck and zebra. The evening braii had to be brought inside due to the weather but Moses and Prisca were great hosts and provided fantastic food. As noted everywhere else, the outdoor shower was great and when the sun shone, it really was "the business". Schotia felt a bit "staged" but when we left Addo Afrique, we were lucky enough to see one of the Addo lions a couple of kms up the road. Highly recommended.
