Stayed at the hotel lesvion for two nights before travelling to Molyvos. Double room was a decent size, clean, quiet, and had a view of the harbour. Wifi connection was fine. Buffet breakfast was great with a nice view. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was big enough, about 17-18 m2, I suppose, had a small balcony, furniture ok, bed comfortable, bathroom ok, connecting to wifi was a torture, (the method of connecting to it was a torture, you entered the password over browser, unusual and harder way) but after connecting, no problem. I had also stayed at nearby blue sea hotel, which had slightly bigger rooms and balconies and prices, I would prefer lesvion hotel, its breakfast saloon is very nice, has great sea view, breakfast was satisfying. There is a pie shop adjacent to the hotel which makes delicious crunchy sweet pies, cheese-meat pies, spinach pies, just taste once and you will become addicted, I strongly recommend.

Room Tip: The rooms on the upper levels are quieter. Do not book a room not overlooking the perfect sea view...

Not much to add to the other reviews - great location right on the sea front with quiet rooms at the back. After the trauma of flying Aegean Air, it was bliss to reach my room, have a shower then join my friends for dinner on their balcony. Breakfast was also worth having. The only drawback was the fact my room smelled of stale cigarettes when I first arrived but other than that it was a convenient place to spend the night in transit to the rest of the island.

We've started a "tradition" in the last two years of spending a bit extra to add in a first night of our Lesbos holiday (always based at glorious Amfitriti in gorgeous Mithymna) at the Lesvion. We've always loved Mytilini in any case, but it's usually been on the basis of a couple of hours grabbed en route back to the airport or a drive down mid-holiday via the stunning east coast road (and fabulous Mistegna beach). We're really glad we started this last year and did it again last month. (We do have a sad but special connection to the city, as Sarah was hospitalised here four years ago and, well... let's say we're left with a poignant "family" connection even deeper than the friendly one we already had with the island and its people.) Anyway, the fantastic city atmosphere (think Athens in the 60s) more than justifies the "sacrifice" of one Molivos night in any case; but the real deal-closer for us, the factor that has made this into a regular commitment in our regular Lesbos vacations, is the charm of the Lesvion Hotel. It's a well-kept 50s establishment, tasteful-modern, with friendly staff, awesome harbour views from the sea-front rooms and a great breakfast to be had on the first floor balcony. Current UK flight schedules mean that this first Lesbos morning for us is a Sunday at the Lesvion. We have the delight of an early start to watch the city wake up from the teeming Saturday night before, complete with military band marching past as we take our yoghurt, honey, coffee, eggs and so on. Truly "continental," civilised elegance and slightly retro charm – highly recommended.

Room Tip: Sea-front gives you the harbour at sunrise and sunset - magnificent

The Hotel Lesvion is a great little hotel in the heart of the town. The rooms are clean, have beautiful harbour views and are of a reasonable standard. The staff were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The breakfast in the mornings was also plentiful and tasty.

The rooms facing the harbour have lovely views, especially in the morning and the evening. The road is between the hotel and water, but the windows are double glazed, so sound isn't an issue. The balcony is a nice place to chill out, and the rooms are spacious, functional and perfectly fine.

It's not a particularly 'boutique' hotel, but it is comfortable & convenient for boats/busses/restaurants/bars & cafes. I'd stay there again if in Mytilene again.
