Very welcoming pub with antiques for sale and a waterfall... Very random and quirky! Food is simple, fresh and tasty! Good honest food with no fanciness! Good beer and lovely landlord!!

Good tasty pub grub with a great view of the river wye. Building smelled of damp, but a lovely welcome.

The title of this review says it all. There is a wide choice of well presented food from snacks to full meals. Wine prices are very reasonable and the food is not only tasty but good value for money. The landlord is exceptionally friendly without being over the top and, as others have mentioned, the bric a brac is fun to browse. Would recommend this pub over others I have tried in Tintern.

We visited for lunch whilst in Tintern, food excellent and generous portions. Very quirky with all the bric a brac for sale but we loved it! Well worth a visit. Be careful with the parking due to the blind corner though

As others have already said - a very quirky pub and an exceptionally friendly landlord. The local beer was good and it was great fun to peruse the bric-a-brac and antiques dotted round the pub. Food was staple pub grub and I wish they wouldn't put salad onto extremely hot plates but it was very welcome at our journey's end. There are seating areas outside with views over the Wye but it is right on the roadside, so traffic is constant
