Having enjoyed a full Scottish breakfast at our B&B that morning we decided 'lunch' would be tea and cake. We stumbled across The Thistle Stop on our way to Fort Augustus and decide this would be the perfect place - and it was! We were spoilt for choice - loads of different scones, cake and desserts. We settled on sharing a portion of the Lemon Curd Treacle tart with Cream and a plain scone with cream & jam. Both home made and both amazing! So much for our 'small lunch' - portions were huge and totally delicious! Service was excellent too. Thank you!
