“A "Great' Cottage with lots for all ages to do”

We have stayed at this cottage on three different occasions now and always had a wonderful time. The cottage is lovely and cosy with a great log burner and is in a perfect peaceful location with beautiful views across Upper Lough Erne. There is direct access to lough Erne for boating enthusiasts or alternatively you can stay on dry land and relax by doing a little fishing from the jetty. There is plenty of space for children to play but if they are feeling particularly active, the Share Discovery Village is only a short distance by car or boat where the whole family can take part in a wide range of water and land based activities. If you are feeling a little less active, the cottage is well placed to visit a wide range of local landmarks such as Marble Arch Caves, the famous Belleek Pottery factory and National Trust properties such as Crom, Florence Court and Castle Coole. The cottage is fitted out with excellent facilities but if you want a break from cooking you only have a short stroll to a really lovely restaurant on site for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant is really child friendly.

“Our stay at the Fishermans Cottage”
Reviewed 24 February 2014 for a stay in August 2013

The cottage is just outside Lisnaskea and sits on the banks of Lough Erne. There are various jetties near the cottage, the children spent hours fishing and playing in the water.
The activities for children in the nearby Share Centre were brilliant, our children enjoyed windsurfing and canoeing. The cottage was an excellent base to visit local attractions – the Marble Arch Caves, Florence Court and Caste Archdale are all worth a visit.
The cottage is very homely with a good size living and dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable. We had a really enjoyable stay with lots to do and the children enjoyed being so close to the water. We look forward to our next visit.

“Fantastic Cottage, Views and Fishing”
Reviewed 24 February 2014 for a stay in July 2013

I stayed at Kilmore with a few friends and was hugely impressed straight away with the accommodation - it is furnished to a high standard, clean and plenty of room so very comfortable.

The cottage has all amenities you would require and really felt like a home from home.

We flew into Belfast International from Bristol and hired a car from there - it was only about 90 min drive down to this cottage.

The best thing for us was the proximity to the Lough so we could be up and fishing in no time.

We fished for a couple of days and have to say the fishing is some of the best I have experienced in 25 years - we did some Coarse fishing and there seems to be and endless supply of Bream and Roach, but the main draw were the Pike which, even in Summer, were plentiful and in really good condition.

The restaurant is a stone's throw away and seems to cater for all tastes and was good for a beer after a long day's fishing.

However we found the way forward to be a takeaway from Lisnaskea the town a few minutes drive away and a couple of beers whilst chatting about the possibilities of monster pike the next day!

In summary, I have stayed all over UK and Ireland on various fishing trips/holidays and cannot overdo the praise for this place.

I would say take a car as you will need this to get to the shops/local sites etc but aside from that everything else is there you would need. Top place - 10/10.
