Bo'ness Motor Museum

The collection itself is interesting and they have packed a lot into a small space but it is not done justice. Vastly overpriced at £5.95 and we were round in less than 20 minutes. The leaflet and website says there is a miss money penny diner but you could miss it in a separate upstairs section and it isn't actually open! Sign outside says closed if a funeral is on as they share a building with a funeral director - fine but you wouldn't know museum is closed unless you turn up. It's a shame as it has the potential to be a real retro gem but the leaflet and website make it out to be better than it is. Disappointing given we travelled from Cumbernauld.

The selection of cars they have in this little location is superb. They have many James Bond cars and other movie cars along with other classics. This is a must visit if you like cars and movies.

There is an excellent selection of James Bond cars, as well as cars from other films and TV shows such as Harry Potter and 51st State. There are also other classic cars.

Although small, there is a surprisingly large selection of cars, as well as other memorabilia from movies. You'd be crazy to miss this if you're in the area...in fact, go even if you're not in the area!

This is a privately owned museum and the only member of staff on was the owner. The owner is a big James bond fan upstairs autographed photographs of the stars from the film and downstairs as well as a selection of cars from the film there is also props. There is also cars from other films including Harry Potter and the saint. The owner was very chatty and helpful and the place was spotlessly clean. As well as car stuff there is a Tardis which appeared in Dr who along with mini reproduction darleks. The biggest downside with being a small museum is there is not as many cars as other places and everything is very tightly packed in. I would ignore the website as its out of date for example the cafe does not exist and the refreshments is a coffee machine serving real coffee.

Had never heard of this museum until I saw it listed on a groupon offer and thought it would make a good trip.

Its not paticularly big, and from outside on arrival it looks a little disappointing but its jam packed inside, especially with cars from films, most notably a fantastic selection of James Bonds cars, these are not cars that are similar to the ones that are used but are the actual cars, direct from Pinewood studios in most cases!

The owner has been collecting them for 20 years and they are a credit to him, you could quite easily spend a couple or so hours wandering round admiring them all and reading the infoormation about them and various other props from the film industry that he has amassed.

Excellent museum and if we are back that way we will probably visit again.
