if you like history and wanting to get away from it all this is the place for you. This former gold mining town in the mountains past Hillsboro, New Mexico, once had a population of 7,000 people in its glory days.
The bank building is still standing as a are few other buildings. Plenty of places to to walk and hike and just let the rest of the world go by.
The owner is great.
You can prepare your own meal, or have meals in Hillsboro.
