My second lunch at Kishorn whilst toodling around Scotland and just as good as the first. Remember, this isn't a restaurant, it's a "Seafood Bar" which serves very tasty, fresh food and which, when I visited, was being run by two women sharing cooking and serving. That's it, what more do you need! There are tables inside and but I've been fortunate on both occasions when I've visited to be able to sit outdoors in the mild Autumn sunshine, savouring oysters and mussels whilst gazing out to Loch Kishorn.

Stopped for a late lunch. Charming owner chatty & laid back. Seafood platter delish, as were squat lobster tails, mussels & salmon. The "dillicious" sauce is a perfect accompaniment to the salmon.
Recommending this place for 10 years & will continue to do so

Having driven past this little place a couple of times it looked welcoming from the roadside so we thought we give it a try for lunch.

There were 2 ladies behind the counter - one serving and the other preparing the food. The lady preparing the food didn't say hello or goobye and was moaning about something throughout our 30 minute visit.

All the tables were dirty and the food portions small for the price. 4 oysters (which were not that great) and with a slice of lemon were £6. We also had a tiny dressed crab, a small amount of smoked salmon, 3 small slices of bread (one was already buttered) and 2 tiny portions of salad brought the entire bill to £28. I was then told if I paid by credit card there would be a £1.50 supplement!

We visited here in September with friends, lovely rustic seafood bar, with a good selection of fish, portions rather on the small side and my Cullen skink had very tiny bits of haddock in it and lacked creaminess, however the other three in our party really enjoyed their food and we would all return again so I guess that says something!

We had some very tasty crab rolls - and admired the seafood salad the people on the table next to us were enjoying! The staff were preparing mussels and oysters on view and all looked very fresh and tasty.
